AIBU about creepy doll?

My sisters and I have unfortunately been clearing my nans house ready for sale. We found a very old doll that looks a little creepy, it's a young girl doll in hand knitted clothes and probably was my nan's. Nobody wanted her and I've bought her home. Both my children and husband says she's going to come alive and kill us all. I think she will be okay in the attic.
Have I bought a demon doll home?
She needs a name, I was thinking something of the same vintage so maybe mabel?

Her eyes are very realistic and she looks around 2 years old. I don't want to put up a photo in case family members spot it. Maybe I'll call her Samantha. Dh say I had to seal her in a bag for the attic so she's in my wardrobe for now.

My dad brought the creepiest toy ever out of our nan's house when she died. It was nicotine stained (nan was a smoker) and was winking. It haunts my dreams!

What does it matter whether family members spot it?! They know you have it, presumably.

Dorothy is a good creepy doll name. I would use her to do weird elf on a shelf style stuff while everyone is sleeping. Unless of course she does it herself.......
