AIBU to wonder what conspiracy theories you think may hold some weight?

Generally speaking I hate conspiracy theories, but is there anything out there that’s passed off as a conspiracy theory that you think holds some weight? I personally have some questions about the assassination of JFK.

I don't think Johnson faked it, and I say this as someone who can't stand him. I don't think it was as serious as he claims but I really, really don't think he was faking.

Re Jimmy Savile, plenty of people suspected he was a bit dodge before the stories came out. One of my mum's friends met him back in the day and said he was a creep, and she wasn't the only one. I think someone on here said Savile groped her DD when she was 12.

I believe Boris Johnson was much more seriously ill with COVID than the government admitted to, and that they lied to downplay how ill he was.

They claimed he was being admitting for routine tests but it was late on a Sunday night, and claimed him being moved into intensive care was just a precaution and that he was sitting up and doing well. The entire way through his illness they acted like he wasn’t that sick and downplayed his illness, but you don’t get put in ICU unless you are really unwell.

It’s not a huge conspiracy theory and it’s hardly news that the government lies, but that’s my interpretation of the evidence.

So do I. It was obvious he was very unwell when he came out of Downing Street to clap for the NHS and could barely hold his head up. You could hear the rattling in his chest when he spoke. Then when he recovered and gave that really emotional speech thanking the staff who cared for him. He was seriously unwell and is lucky to be here.

Covid deniers are such a bunch of wankers. They think they’re so superior.

More of a how than a why. He was on suicide watch, both guards fell asleep and the CCTV stopped working. Which would be an ideal time for him to commit suicide but also an ideal time for somebody else to kill him.

Then there is the question of who benefits from his death? The deal he got before wasn't going to be in the table again so he had no need to keep quiet about who he was with, when and where.

There is something about the second Iraq war and how the US consolidated its hold on Kuwaiti and Iraqi oilfields. I can only imagine substantial wealth has been laundered via oil proceeds through offshore banks and into the hands of an elite group of people. I also think the sums involved are shocking - the best part of a region has been effectively privatised. That is why Putin wants to get into there.

The only no brain is in your head. Are you seriously suggesting that the US Government deliberately allowed the murder of 3000 people on its own soil so as to start a war in the Middle East? Despite no evidence to this whatsoever.

The restaurant never had a basement. It’s pretty easy to tell there was never any basement. Plus the idea that they were actively holding children in the basement then magically managed to fill in an entire basement so perfectly not a trace of it was visible - without permits or workmen and without a single person in the middle of a major city noticing - and by sheer good luck and coincidence they did this immediately before a random Internet person showed up, when they had no reason to (since you’d assume they’d be politically protected from any form of official/police investigation). It just doesn’t stand up to basic logic or common sense for a second. None of it does, not one single word.

If you stretch pizza dough carefully enough and let it dry it looks like cement. Maybe they just put a layer of these over the floor (no raised crusts) and the basement is still there but not apparent to the naked eye? Just saying...

Do you not find that the tomato sauce stains your blouse?
I know I did when I tried it. But, here's a tip, pop a couple of mozzarella balls in your wash (instead of washing capsules) and Roberto's your uncle and everthing is sparkling blanco again.

I’m another one who doesn’t believe Jeffery Epstein killed himself. He shouldn’t have been able to. How would he have known that the guards were asleep and CCTV down? Seems to me those guards have some tough questions to answer. One also was not a regular guard. Who better than one or both of the guards ( the non regular guard ?) to disable the CCTV and get in there? Did non regular guard drug regular guard so he’d sleep? In a nice cup of coffee say? Seems more credible than someone coming in from outside. On the other hand, I imagine that if the guard went in to murder Epstein, there would be one hell of a struggle. He’s not just going to just let someone strangle or hang him, is he? Noisy enough to risk waking regular guard even if drugged?
