To be utterly disgusted by "DDLG"?

BumbleBeeeeeee · 26/08/2020 20:13

On a Facebook mum group, someone started a thread about kinks. No problem with kinky things whatsoever, do whatever you want in your own home. But someone mentioned the acronym DDLG which was explained to mean "daddy dom/little girl". Ie female/"sub" pretending to be a child in the bedroom. Talk of sticker books and colouring in and pretending to be a certain age, more often than not toddler/preschool age.
That mothers can do this and happily have kids with men who want to fuck them while they're pretending to be children is absolutely vile and shocking.
It cant just be me?!

@Stripesgalore

Tina, your response isn’t dispelling myths. It is making it sound even more vile with this talk of ‘cute’ clothes.
Seriously? What about Japanese kawaii fashion?? It's all about cute clothing and it's HUGE.
022828MAN · 28/08/2020 11:00

Whaaat?! I thought I wasn't easily shocked but this is insane. Why would any woman enable a pedophile?!

twoHopes · 28/08/2020 11:06

I'm not sure Japan is a good example to use here. They have a massive problem with paedophilia.

Stripesgalore · 28/08/2020 11:08

It’s also about context.

FacePirates · 28/08/2020 11:11

Absolutely disgusting and I wouldn't hesitate in reporting a colleague or parent to my school safeguarding team if I saw this. I think the Internet should just be turned off.

Stripesgalore · 28/08/2020 11:17

Kawaii is a cultural trend for cute things in the East similar to Westerners liking kitsch.

It isn’t about pretending to be a child, much less one who is thinking about whether or not their clothes look cute, which is not how children think when relating to a parent. It’s a very disturbing, objectifying way of thinking about children.

Cadent · 28/08/2020 11:24

@twoHopes that article is chilling. I never understood why child manga images are tolerated, even in the West.

Kettlingur · 28/08/2020 11:42

Having lived in Japan there's a massive MASSIVE market for kawaii paedo stuff. Those things are connected, whether Western anime and manga fans want to admit it or not.

Stripesgalore · 28/08/2020 11:57

I think I must have misunderstood then Kettlingur. I thought kawaii referred to people with pastel hair and stacked trainers, hello kitty on cars, that kind of thing.

Obviously you have a much better knowledge of the culture.

I really don't understand this attitude. Do you honestly think that of someone was genuinely a paedo, that they would be in any way satisfied by a grown ass woman with a grown ass body dressing up? Of course not. That's like saying someone with a very specific leather fetish would be satisfied by rubber. Eye roll. I know many many people who love this way and I can guarantee you the they are not at all what you think. Some are even part of paedo hunter groups. This is VERY different. My best friend is a children's social worker and knows everything about me, and she's can wrap her head around this and understand it for what it is. I think this is very sad that everyone thinks this is something disgusting and wrong.

Of course you're gonna see stories of abuse and bad eggs... But that's in every walk of life, including churches. The majority of us are peaceful , harmless and very very against the things you accuse us of.

twoHopes · 28/08/2020 12:15

I get what you're saying Tina but if I was a teenage girl and found out that my dad got off on my mum calling him "daddy" while pretending to be a little girl I would freak the fuck out.

Having a fetish for young girls is so common - that's why "teen" is one of the most commonly searched for words in porn. When I was a teenager I was sexually harassed by men all the time. From family members to strangers in the street. I think women are far too trusting of men.

TheChampagneGalop · 28/08/2020 12:23

I think so too. First time I was sexually harassed by a male stranger I was 5. Never had the luxury of thinking that male pedos are rare.

Bananacloud · 28/08/2020 12:28

THIS IS NOT FUCKIN NORMAL PEOPLE!!!

Lookingforastronauts · 28/08/2020 12:36

If a child found out any aspect of their parents sex life it would be disturbing. Even something as mild as spanking. That's why people have to be careful to protect their children from having any knowledge of what goes on in private behind closed doors.

A lot of people seem to be under the impression that this is men seeking out women and being predatory. I know lots of men who identify as littles and want their girlfriend to be mummy sometimes. I've done it, it was fun. What can I say? But I certainly wouldn't want to do that with a child! The appeal is that is an adult male, making himself vulnerable and putting his trust in you.

Also I found this side of me when I was with my ex husband. He was reluctant at first and he didn't know if it was wrong or said something bad about him. But when he understood that I was his wife, an adult, even if I wasn't necessarily acting like it, he eventually embraced it and was an amazing daddy.

Stripesgalore · 28/08/2020 12:57

People don’t like to think about their parents having sex, but most people wouldn’t be disturbed by the contents of their parents’ sex lives.

justasking111 · 28/08/2020 13:13

Women who walk this path are just enabling men imo. Can you really imagine a woman asking men to call her mummy?

TitsOutForHarambe · 28/08/2020 13:28

Can you really imagine a woman asking men to call her mummy?

Yes, it happens just as frequently this way around. There are even several posters on this thread who have said that they do this.

Kettlingur · 28/08/2020 19:13

Bollocks it does.

TheChampagneGalop · 28/08/2020 19:25

Mommy dommes exist but they are rare compared to daddy doms. And their existance doesn't make the whole pretend pedo rape/incest thing any better.

ZoeTurtle · 28/08/2020 21:26

TinaBennington Please tell us you don't have any girls in the house?

PhilSwagielka · 29/08/2020 01:21

The thought of dressing up as a little girl and acting all cute and sucking my thumb and having a guy pretend to be my father, when my real one is dead and I loved him and had no sexual feelings for him, just makes me feel sick. Sorry but it does. I actually do have habit of reverting to childlike behaviour but it’s the result of mental health issues and I’m working on it with my therapist. And it’s not a kink thing.

PhilSwagielka · 29/08/2020 01:23

@Kettlingur

Bollocks it does.
It does, I’ve seen it on Fetlife.
TinaBennington · 29/08/2020 10:20

Listen people. Some people get a sexual thrill out of dressing up in a Nazi uniform. Pretty sure they don't secretly harbour fantasies of mass genocide. Get a f*ing grip.

Maybe they do. It's still deeply fucked up, and anyone with half a brain & an ounce of empathy would run a mile. The nazis killed millions of people. Why would someone want to bring that into the bedroom? Stop the world I want to get off!
