If you were on holiday abroad for a week and someone was texting you every day would it annoy you ?
Asking if you were having fun
How the weather was etc
Aibu to think it wouldn't ?
If you were on your phone anyway on Facebook etc

Life’s too short to get annoyed about nothing . Turn your phone sound off or even better turn the entire phone off and have your holiday if these people piss you off so much. Thank god for being able to stay in contact with friends though .

First thing my DH does is ring his mum to tell her we’ve arrived then number ours more calls during day to update her. I feel suffocated. They live literally 3 streets down from us and we see them everyday! I also think leave us alone! Earlier in year we went for weekend away and MIL FaceTimed is 5 times in total! DH called them 3 times so that’s 8 times over 2 days!

Why are you texting an ex while he is on holiday?You are clearly driving him up the wall.
You sound utterly over interested in him and a bit desperate.
I think you may need to move on.
