To think that most F1 racers seem to have won the genetic lottery?

Absolutely irrelevant topic but this has always been on my mind for no reason at all. I watch a lot of F1 races due to my family being very much into it and for some reason they all generally seem to be what you could consider 'good looking'.

I am sure there is no actual correlation between physical appearance and success as a F1 racer but it's something I noticed ages ago

I used to love Eddie Irvine and Jean Alesi but agree JB is the best one atm. We went to the Monaco gp a few years back and were in the hotel bar when he strolled in with his now ex-wife (Jessica?) and a few others, and she was wearing a bikini top with his team jacket over her shoulders and looked every inch the model and I thought dammit, I may not be his type then!

@Alarae if you're following the money there's always Nicholas Latifi. He seems a bit "invisible" at the moment, but might have a bit more personality than Lance.

Love F1 but not seeing the 'unusually good-looking' thing.
I had a weird romantic dream about Max, which made me see him in a new light, but really he's not conventionally attractive.
Hulkenberg definitely the fittest, shame he couldn't get his first podium last weekend. If anyone should be played by Chris Hemsworth it def should have been him!

Wow never thought of Toto like that before, but off to Google more pics now to see what you all see.
If were including team bosses I think Christian Horner is really likeable and attractive for his age.

Have always loved JB, he has the looks and the personality.

Of the current drivers I like Danny Ric and have a soft spot for Seb recently.
Some of the young drivers have great personalities but are definitely too young for me to look at in that way

Also loved Mark Webber as a PP mentioned.

Leclerc and Hulkenberg all the way for me. But love Norris, Russell, Verstappen and Ricciardo. Sometimes personality shines through... if I had to be stuck in a lift with one of them, it’d be Norris or Ricciardo.

I agree there are lots of attractive racers. Toto Wolff is obviously smoking hot. Danny
Ricciardo is my favourite though. He just seems like the nicest guy, always with a huge grin.

Toto is gorgeous, I’ve had more than one rather nice dream about him! I’ve been an F1 fan since the early 80’s so they are all way too young for me but I love Kimi, Jens, DC, Mark Webber, Seb, Danny Ric and Nico Hulk and have had the privilege of seeing them race many times. I think Lando has a great personality, love Max in the car but cannot abide Lewis, he is so up himself and dull and dreary. I’m having a ball these past few weekends with the double and triple headers

Yes I've enjoyed F1 this year. Possibly because the wait was also so long but am loving the consequent I've weekend on the same track.

Loved Max win this weekend! Red bull are learning to play the strategy game quite well recently.

Vettel all the way for me Funny, handsome, well liked, great smile. Kimi has a certain charm too.

We've been really enjoying it to though we are running bets on how long it is before Martin Brundle mentions the sad lack of spectators and how many times he will mention it

Yeah I didn't get the masks either. They are tested weekly. I thought they had to have a negative test to be allowed onsite?

Can I just say I love this thread. I can talk about F1 for hours, but my only friends who like it are male and don't have much interest in the relative attractiveness (or otherwise) of Antonio Giovinazzi and Romain Grosjean!

Juan Pablo Montoya was one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in real life. Maybe a little short but just gorgeous. Age has not been overly kind to him.

Jenson is ageing beautifully, as are Damon and DC. Jean Alesi’s eyes were just gorgeous, and Giancarlo Fisichella always seemed both gorgeous and thoroughly nice.

Out of the current pack, the youngsters are too young for it to be appropriate (but it would be George Russell) .

Good looking yes, but most of them are surprisingly short. And im not sure how many of them are known for their brains. Skill yes, but brains?

JB and Mark Webber are what my dreams are made of oh and Kimi ofc. Actually wonder how different life must be like when you have a face that looks like it was carved by angels 😂

On a side note. I have just started watching Formula 1 Drive to Survive on Netflix as I need to get my fix and can't wait until the next time they're live. Any thoughts?

You do know that most of them are 4 foot 9 and weigh about 6 stone to keep the weigh down in the cars?
