Casually browsing market place and came across these "pamper baskets" for £12.50 each...

Tampons aren't my idea of a pamper, neither is toothpaste and deodorant! GrinGrin

Also there's a glass but no prosseco?

Anyone else got any goodies they'd like to share?

@Hippofrog

When I’m feeling down a sheet of colouring paper and some tampax always makes me heel better.
This made me snigger

@LunaMuffinTop

This is an absolute beauty.
LunaMuffin That driftwood looks like a really long poo!

@Flynn999 Fuck me backwards, those dolls are the stuff of nightmares.

I do love a good FB Marketplace tat thread and the trend for gift boxes that look like someone raided the local Holiday Inn’s housekeeping trolley are the best.

My particular favourite is the naff-as-fuck glittery wine glass, with the random tampons a very close second.

A single maoam sweet and a toothbrush/toothpaste Confused 🤣

EmbarrassingAdmissions · 09/08/2020 19:59

I never understand stuff like this.

Is it to allow some people to claim they're self-employed and, depending, on their circumstances, enable a group to claim WTC or similar?

If it's not that or money-laundering, I've no idea what's going on. Confused

The sad part is some working class souls will actually buy stuff like this thinking it's dead posh

Squiffany · 09/08/2020 20:00

@LunaMuffinTop

Try again the £35 pen.
Do their clothes come off when you turn the pen upside down?
KitKatastrophe · 09/08/2020 20:15

Horrifying doll anyone?

@EuphegeniaDoubtfire

It's the two colouring pencils that get me.
Is the paper roll a picture to colour in - because colouring in seems to be recommended as a relaxing activity tho' I fail to understand how far you'd get with 2 colours.
Wannabefarmer · 09/08/2020 20:23

There is guy who makes the weirdest taxidermy you've ever seen and sells it on Facebook market place. This monstrosity is a combination of 4 different animals. He was selling rat scrotums on Facebook advertising them as pencil cases. He has a website now called the world around ewe if you want to see more creations. I can't work out if he's nuts or just has a really weird sense of humour.

This is on mine...what a bargain at only £10 (was £11)... you just need to knock it back into shape before you can use it.

How the hell could you fit pencils in something the size of a rat's scrotum?

Even a very large rat

Why........ just why? Also forgot to capture the price in case anyone is interested £15

viques · 09/08/2020 20:44

Those pamper boxes remind me of the random crap stuff they used to have on the conveyor belt in the Generation Game.

Luckily I no longer have a need for tampons. I wonder if I could somehow repurpose them, earrings maybe. "Ears a bit sore from wearing a mask? These super soft earrings are just what you need. Handcrafted from fat free polyester fibres they are both original and additive free. Great talking point!"

Truly, it would have to be rodents of unusual size.

Shame Argos doesn't have those teeny tiny pens any more.
QuestionableMouse · 09/08/2020 20:47

@Tuemay

I saw a vintage McDonald's straw the other day for £25 and if you wanted it personalised, it was an extra £15 I think.

No idea how they were going to personalise...

Well damn. I chucked a load away at work a while ago. I could have been rolling in it.
CoffeeRunner · 09/08/2020 20:48

@Knowhowufeel2 Gees! I gave my old BBQ with a wonky leg to the scrap man last week!

Judging by that I could have asked at least £20 for it!

It feels very Take A Break - Unusual Christmas Ornaments. A tampon tree angel would accompany the infamous winged towel slippers.

Coney is quite a masterpiece.

From a distance looks like a wall mounted shit. Who wouldn’t want that?

Bwa ha ha! Grin
