Two scoops of porridge oats, two cups of milk, two of water, some apple juice and currants to taste.
Fed me and two energetic boys. This must be the most cost effective and healthy breakfast? I suppose there's the gas to cook it as well.

Oats are healthier when made in water.

I to have upgraded to jumbo oats, mine get a handful of frozen raspberries in it. Is like having a radiator turned on in your tummy to after eating. Gets me through till lunch without snacking so great for diet to. Am a water and splash of milk at end.

I make it for my DC every morning in winter, but you couldn't pay me to eat it Envy

I don't mind cold overnight oats though- but it doesn't keep me full for very long.

DH loves it but all milk no water and definitely no apple juice. He sometimes adds a teaspoon of jam on top of he thinks I am not looking.

Ugh, I can’t stand porridge. It sends me to sleep, literally! As soon as I have some (rarely, because I don’t like it) I end up very sleepy!
