So only ever having bought the saver one.... is there any difference between this and the regular quarter pounder which is 3 times the price. Is it just bigger... ?

People go more often because they can have different meals. I prefer the variety tbh.

Talking of variety my ultimate favourite is the Big Tasty I'm praying it's the first promo they do when they re start them. Big Tasty sauce is the only thing in life I truly crave I can't get enough of the stuff!!

Them selling a bigger variety of food doesn't affect those who like things off the more traditional menu, and it's not like McDs is unsuccessful, so why would you care about this?

I’m in my 40s but I don’t remember the Mcpizza, that said when I was pregnant with my son in 1997, I totally went off McDonald’s until around 2003 so maybe the pizzas were around that time???

I miss the root beer. They should make double fillet o fish burgers, that would be my dream. And due to the blooming corona sadly There was no creme egg McFlurry to look forward to that they usually resurrect every Easter.

All this McDonald’s talk now has me thinking today’s dinner will be a McDonald’s banquet, trashy but tasty food to eat whilst I watch the trashy but entertaining 90day fiancé... you can’t get a better combo

Wow how could I forget the McRib. That was the best thing to come out of McDonald’s ( along with the root beer!)

I always have 9 nuggets, large fries, large Coke.
It has been so, so long now!! I would love one, but can’t get to one

I worked at the golden arches for a while.

You get 2 gherkins on most burgers, none have just 1.
The 1/4 pounder has proper chopped onions and a bigger bun and burger.

Buns are all brioche type buns which is why they are so sweet.
But YABU because Big Macs are the best

I have definitely had a burger with one lonely gherkin. I was not impressed.

Cannot believe I can buy a pot of them, this has made my day! Easily pleased..

I've never been refused a pot of gherkins and I've asked at different places! Sometimes they charge like 50p, sometimes they just give them

I like the filet o fish as well, haven't had one for a while now hungry

I am waiting for the return of the toffee latte, DH bought me an instant version yesterday as I am running out of syrup at home

DD loves McDonalds but has never had a burger - always fish or chicken. DH is not a fan of the burgers but also likes the chicken.

Gravy loaded fries add extra gravy for nugget dipping

Love a QP plain with just cheese, large fries and choc shake. Also like chicken selects, dip has to be bbq. I miss the breakfast menu, sausage, egg and cheese bagel with a hash brown and orange juice.

I really want it now also I much prefer their hot choc to any from Costa/Starbucks/Pret!

Really wish they’d bring back potato wedges and caramel sundaes, when I was pregnant I had a massive craving for the wedges, emailed them and they said they had no plans to ever bring them back. Bah

Its all about the Big Mac for me, best thing on the menu. When they were closed over lockdown I spent ages trying to recreate the sauce from different recipes online, then on my first day back at work one of my colleagues gave me a wee pot of it! I didnt know you could buy it or I would have stocked up!

it's really about time that they started doing a gluten free bun in the UK too! I've had enough of having to customise a big mac to take off the bun (and no price reduction!!) and then eat with a plastic knife and fork.... I just want a burger in a bun goddamnit!

Serving a decent range of vegetarian or gluten free options, which would require separate cooking facilities, sounds like something McDonalds have decided they'd rather lose the relatively small amount of business over than disrupt their hyper-efficient model over.

Like when they removed the Big Breakfast, because making scrambled egg doesn't fit either.

I don’t blame them for not doing a gf bun , gf bread is an absolute minefield and half the buns / rolls available are inedible. In Five Guys they wrap the burger in lettuce if you want it gf which is I suppose one answer .
