How can I hide my unsightly knob Pic attached

Just retiled the kitchen and have this old capped off gas pipe that we can't remove and would love some ideas on what to use to hide it. It measures about 5cm x 5cm.

Little tiny corner shelf with a spider plant or trailing plant on it - with the leaves dangling over shelf top to hide it?

Thanks I’m sure some OxyContin will take the edge right off that icky knob.

i would attach a fancy hook to the wall above the knob using double sided car number tape (much stronger than Command sticky pad things). I would then draped a fancy tea towel (to match your decor)
over the offending knob. I like the idea of a little shelf but would be reluctant to drill into the wall because of the gas pipe and any electrical wires.
