My neighbours sit in their garden from 10am until 9pm in her pjs. I think they’re married. Around early 30’s. The woman doesn’t work (ever since I moved here years ago) the guy is at home at the mo with all this Covid. They don’t have any kids and she is always bossing him around and doing 90% of the talking from What I overhear.

I just find it strange.

What part?

KingOfDogShite · 15/06/2020 20:11

I’m in the garden I my pjs at the moment.

What a scandal!

HappyHammy · 15/06/2020 20:11

Why is it strange. What would be acceptable to you.

StormzyInaDCup · 15/06/2020 20:11

It's really none of your business as long as it's not impacting on you @Allsorts2020

heartsonacake · 15/06/2020 20:11

What’s strange about it? Confused

Patsypie · 15/06/2020 20:11

None of your business. You don't know anything about their situation.

birthdaybelle · 15/06/2020 20:13

That is a long time to sit in the garden for. What are they doing?

Allsorts2020 · 15/06/2020 20:13

Sitting in the garden 11 hours a day. Also that she doesn’t go to work. Bossing her husband around. Previously I’ve seen him come home from work and straight into the garden to cut the grass and she sits on a stool watching him... she watches him paint the fence. He puts the bins out every week. She seems to do nothing

Allsorts2020 · 15/06/2020 20:14

Yeh it’s none of my business. I just think it’s odd.

@Allsorts2020 she could be disabled and not able to do this herself... I really don't get why your so invested.

heartsonacake · 15/06/2020 20:15

I think it’s strange you’re so invested in your neighbours.

Allsorts2020 · 15/06/2020 20:15

@ birthdaybelle just talking. Usually just hear her chatting and him agreeing.

HelmutShmacker · 15/06/2020 20:16

Maybe she has an invisible illness?

Allsorts2020 · 15/06/2020 20:16

Lol I’m not invested. It’s just something Ive noticed. She seems able bodied to me but yeh she could have an impairment that’s not obvious I suppose. Seems pretty vocal when it comes to moaning about parking

So is her husband in her pj's? Maybe he's cold. Or are they both in her pj's? Lucky woman. And does he wear her pj's when he puts the bin out?
Allsorts2020 · 15/06/2020 20:17

And gets hostile if anyone parks by her house.

FTMF30 · 15/06/2020 20:20

You are invested. You posted to chat about it on here😂

FlamingoAndJohn · 15/06/2020 20:20

She could have an illness. Something comfortable would explain the PJs, same for the sitting outside I know then FIL was very ill with cancer the only place he felt comfortable was in a certain chair in a certain part of the garden.

heartsonacake · 15/06/2020 20:20

Yep, you are invested. You watch them, listen to them to know exactly what they’re talking about and their movements and then post about them on the internet.

That’s not normal behaviour; you’re intrusive and strange.

FTMF30 · 15/06/2020 20:21

It's fun to have strange neighbours anyway.

DanielRicciardosSmile · 15/06/2020 20:23

To be fair, I'd find it odd if two people were sharing one pair of pyjamas.

ChubbyPigeon · 15/06/2020 20:24

Why dont you just start a thread saying 'reasons I dont like my neighbour'

Its not that you 'just find it strange'

Keepthebloodynoisedown · 15/06/2020 20:28

I live in pjs/ lounge wear and don’t have a job. I have an invisible illness, which I’m not about to start telling my neighbours about.

FizzyPink · 15/06/2020 20:30

Maybe they have a dominant/submissive relationship and get off on her bossing him around. I love a bit of neighbour watching

Hopeisnotastrategy · 15/06/2020 20:37

If my neighbours were both wearing one pair of pyjamas I’d find that strange. Maybe they’re just ahead of the curve and saving the planet?
