If pup didn't leave mum until 8 weeks old, they've only had him for 5 weeks.

How can someone possibly get a puppy without thinking past lockdown or what might happen when they go back to work?

People are pigs.

"sadly I'm back at work" Hmm what did they think, they were going to be off forever? Shocking.

IhateBoswell · 03/06/2020 18:55

Absolute twats 😠😠

mylittlesandwich · 03/06/2020 18:56

So so stupid, lockdown obviously wasn't going to last forever.

Witchofzog · 03/06/2020 18:57

Fucking idiot. Has anyone commented to ask the same thing - surely they knew they would go back to work at some point. A puppy is not a temporary distraction Angry

ForYouIWill · 03/06/2020 18:57

This makes me so sad Sad

Groundhogdayzz · 03/06/2020 18:57

This is horrible, so many sad stories around dogs and puppies at the moment.

SierraHotel · 03/06/2020 18:58

Breaks my heart, I can't understand some people. Hope the poor little thing finds his forever home.

endofthelinefinally · 03/06/2020 18:58

So many idiots.
The current situation has shone a spotlight on the thick, selfish and irresponsible.

mynamesmrdiggety · 03/06/2020 18:58

Jesus. Not the sharpest tool in the box are they. Poor pup.

Eloisedublin123 · 03/06/2020 18:58

Only the beginning 😣

CuppaZa · 03/06/2020 18:58

Fucking horrific.

Sparklfairy · 03/06/2020 18:58

I suspect the reality of having a dog has set in and they're thinking about their next holiday so are using work as an excuse.

Glitterb · 03/06/2020 18:59

Really sad and infuriating!

Sadly we will see more and more of these over the coming months when people realise puppies are hard work and they can’t leave them for 9-10 hours a day. Even more when winter comes around!

ShirleyPhallus · 03/06/2020 19:00

Awful

What do the comments say? Has anyone called them out on it?

Ohffs66 · 03/06/2020 19:01

I think there will be so much of this over the next few months, it's heartbreaking and rescues are really stretched already. I know personally of 2 families who have bought puppies in lockdown and am just waiting for this to be the end result as they all work.

Trevsadick · 03/06/2020 19:01

Theres a big chance its a scam and there is no dog to sell.

Theres also a good chance this is real. So many people got puppies assuming they would be at home for the rest of the year. Not sure what they planned then.

I work with a rescue and we have had 3 already.

Zeusthemoose · 03/06/2020 19:01

Such irresponsible behaviour. I really hope the puppy goes to a loving more responsible home.

KenAdams · 03/06/2020 19:10

I can't see the comments - it was posted in a FB group I'm not part of but reposted in one I am part of.

Where is he advertised? Poor puppy

Billyjoearmstrong · 03/06/2020 19:16

Poor dog.

MoonRiver61 · 03/06/2020 19:16

@KenAdams you can pass on the details of the advert to the Say No to Puppy Dealers campaign, which informs the Scottish SPCA in Scotland or the RSPCA in England and Wales, who will then investigate and make sure the puppy is safe. If it's a genuine sale then I guess the seller has made a foolish and irresponsible mistake, but as other posters have said it feels like there's a strong chance it is a scam. All the spelling mistakes and the fact the pup is sitting all alone with no toys or family home sort of background also feels suspicious to me.

Unforgivable and they have no shame about it

louloubelx · 03/06/2020 19:20

@KenAdams just seen your other post. I hope he doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. Dear little thing

RaininSummer · 03/06/2020 19:22

Who the hell are these incredibly stupid selfish people. I hate them.

KenAdams · 03/06/2020 19:23

It was originally posted in a group called Puppies and Dogs in Kent and the South East if anyone is a member to find the details to report it.
