If pup didn't leave mum until 8 weeks old, they've only had him for 5 weeks.

How can someone possibly get a puppy without thinking past lockdown or what might happen when they go back to work?

People are pigs.

What twats, hopefully he will find his forever home with a loving owner next time.

imsooverthisdrama · 03/06/2020 20:32

Some people are thick as fuck !!
I would absolutely love to get a dog but l'll be back at work full time soon and unless someone is home some of the day it's really not fair to get a dog in my opinion.

Rosehip10 · 03/06/2020 20:34

No way is that a fox terrier

AlexCabot · 03/06/2020 20:37

Our dog had his booster vaccinations last week, vet got him from the car, I waited outside and paid over the phone afterwards.

If that dog is a fox terrier then mines a Siamese cat!

ALongHardWinter · 03/06/2020 20:40

What is wrong with some people?!Angry

ItsGoingTibiaK · 03/06/2020 20:47

@Pelleas

Very fishy.

Yes - it's just struck me that, in an advert littered with misspellings of short, commonplace words, the relatively difficult words 'immunisations' and 'veterinarian' are correctly spelt. One possibility is that the poster looked them up - but if you were the sort of person who found spelling difficult, wouldn't you use 'vet' not 'veterinarian'?

Note - I am not sneering at the spelling - , just struck by the suspicious incongruities.

I agree. It’s like they gave up on all the misspellings completely towards the end.
randomer · 03/06/2020 20:53

Where is this please? Absolutely genuinely interested in this little guy.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 03/06/2020 20:55

It's Puppies and Dogs in Kent and South East on FB, randomer.

SociaLifeOfAHotWaterBottle · 03/06/2020 20:55

Try working for a vet. The Christmas and Easter 'clear out' is a thing. There will be a Covid clearout too no doubt now!

AGrownManMadeWager · 03/06/2020 20:59

Lots of vets have been open for vaccinations!!

So the poor thing hasn't even been getting out for walks?

Arsehole

LakieLady · 03/06/2020 20:59

Stupid bastards.

The dog looks like a working lakeland to me.

Alsohuman · 03/06/2020 20:59

Fucking bastards. Poor little scrap follows them around everywhere, he’s completely bonded and they’re shoving him out. I hate people sometimes.

ChilliCheese123 · 03/06/2020 21:00

People are a joke

Shedbuilder · 03/06/2020 21:06

That's not a fox terrier puppy. Believe me, I'm a terrier woman.

Shedbuilder · 03/06/2020 21:13

No, Lakelands are woolly, not furry. I've got one here at my feet. Came here at the age of 9 weeks as a pup, now 13.

That's a nice crossbreed mutt, possibly with some Lakie or Patterdale in it. It'll make someone a great pet. Horrible, horrible thing to do, have a pup for a few weeks, let it become one of the family and then move it on. Sale of all pets and animals should have been made illegal as soon as we went into lockdown.

vanillandhoney · 03/06/2020 21:14

That's a puppy farm advert - probably for a puppy they couldn't shift for whatever reason.

And it's not a fox terrier either.

AGrownManMadeWager · 03/06/2020 21:19

Sale of all pets and animals should have been made illegal as soon as we went into lockdown.

What would have happened to the puppies already born or about to be born then?

iamme21 · 03/06/2020 21:20

Looks nothing like a fox terrier, poor pup

saleorbouy · 03/06/2020 21:23

Would seem that the poor puppy is better off out of that household. There isn't much in the way of IQ with the owner their. Fancy having to go back to a job after lockdown? And then the atrocious spelling in the advert!

SimonJT · 03/06/2020 21:23

They’re idiots. I pick my puppy up tomorrow, a puppy that has been almost two years in the planning. Puppies are very cute, but they’re hardwork, I’m well aware that I probably won’t ‘enjoy’ my puppy for the first six months because of sleepless nights, toileting, biting and general puopy behaviour, but thats what you sign up for if you’re realistic.

leckford · 03/06/2020 21:24

We got ours in lockdown, already agreed with breeder. She is fantastic and had first walk today after last injection last week. Dog for life like our previous ones. Awful humans who treat poor little things so badly should be banned from getting any further pets

Zaphodsotherhead · 03/06/2020 21:25

At thirteen weeks it's probably just starting to get really awkward - mind of his own, chewing everything, no longer the cute little bundle of fluff but a leggy, bitey, yappy bundle of energy.

Terriers are bloody hard work at the best of times, and once they grow out of the 'tiny puppy' stage, that's when it starts to kick in.

I reckon they've just found out what owning a dog is all about. Although, being kind, maybe they got the dog thinking they would be able to carry on working from home and were told they couldn't?

NoSauce · 03/06/2020 21:44

Thick fucks.

sunflowersandtulips50 · 03/06/2020 21:46

that is shocking. I should add as an owner of a fox terrier that that dog isnt one. It looks like a mixed breed.

Musicforsmorks · 03/06/2020 21:51

What fucking mentality is this anyway?
‘Ddduh, I’m bored, I’ll get a puppy, duuuuh, back at work now, don’t need it, duuuh’
Wankers.
Probably call themselves ‘dog lovers’.
