Influencer Mollie Mae puppy dies after 6 days?

Runtowintowalk · 03/06/2020 11:38

The puppy was a Pomeranian - imported from Russia? Are they known for health problems? So shocked to read the puppy died after only 6 days!! What would be the cause? Underlying health issue?

Don't dogs need to be quarantined?

Off topic but that girl is no way 21, she looks at least 35.

IntermittentParps · 03/06/2020 12:38

GrumpyGran8, Christ, that's quite chilling. Is it normal practice to photograph a puppy with a bow in its hair? and give it a 'cute' 'funny' name? Confused It reads like the blurb for a teddy bear, not a live animal.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 03/06/2020 12:40

I've just looked at the Instagram page. Disgusting the way she describes the dogs as "luxurious" as if they're accessories.

flibbertmygibbert · 03/06/2020 12:40

It has been extremely hot the last few days. And that is one fluffy, short nosed little dog...

Somanysocks · 03/06/2020 12:40

Hey but don't worry, she can get another one. After all it was just a commodity.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 03/06/2020 12:41

And it's very telling that they don't say how old she is. Yep! Who knows how many Dorothy pups are available?

And 2K adult weight?? Bred from runts, deliberately malnourished, however they are bred they are prone to all sorts of multi organ issues.

NewAccountForCorona · 03/06/2020 12:44

Where does quarantine come into all this? Surely Russia is a rabies country and therefore any animals imported have to be quarantined

supercilioussal · 03/06/2020 12:46

An article about Tiffany here:

BearBearBearBear · 03/06/2020 12:47

So many influencers/celebs buy her pups! I hope molly and tommy see the bad decision they made and name and shame Tiffany puppies! She charges 4-6k for these poor little things, taken from their mother too young and flown half was across the world! This isn't the first time a pup from her has died too :(

Batfinklestein · 03/06/2020 12:50

If he'd done any research into the company at all he would have known it was dodgy. If you google Tiffany Puppies, the second result that comes up is an article in the Mirror

My friend once stupidly did the same thing it seems that Molly Mae has done and bought a dog off a breeder on Instagram who then shipped her the puppy from Russia.

The puppy that arrived was completely different to the one she'd been sent pictures and videos of and was also much younger. So much younger that she actually wasn't allowed to be released to my friend, and had to spent 2 months in a quarantine/holding facility which cost my friend thousands. If she hadn't paid up the dog would have been put down.

That poor little puppy is the most loved and spoiled dog in the world now, but a tough lesson learned by my friend.

I think often these dogs shipped from abroad are much younger, and i've heard they can often already be ill - which sadly seems to be what has happened here...

MaudG · 03/06/2020 12:55

Her dog is also a pom.

Ughmaybenot · 03/06/2020 12:55

A very quick look at the page shows at least two other love island ‘celebrities’ have had puppies from her, and posted the obligatory advert-post on their own page. This is disgusting.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 03/06/2020 12:55

People don't research, though, do they? They also don't think.

All that advice to ALWAYS see a puppy with its dam and expect to be asked probing questions by the breeder... Passed these two by.

Louis Vuitton dog carrier?🤮🤮 It's a DOG not a bloody toy.

JRUIN · 03/06/2020 12:56

There was no reason whatsover for them to import this dog from Russia. It wasn't even a rescue ffs. The poor thing had to suffer fuck knows what at some puppy farm more than likely, then have to endure the stress of being flown over only to end up dead 5 days later! I am fucking disgusted. There should be a law against this!

Runtowintowalk · 03/06/2020 12:56

@Batfinklestein that article is shocking. How on earth is that brazen woman still using her Instagram page to promote selling these dogs. And I can’t believe those two bought from her. Outrageous. Her page should be banned and her business banned too!!!

Poor thing was obviously in very poor health from the start and then in his short life more important to take a good insta pic than anything else.

SarahTancredi · 03/06/2020 13:00

Surely the fact that in those pictures the puppies are even still long enough to be posed for the photos they are in should have been warning enough ?

How are they not chewing the toys, weeing or asleep? It's not normal to just stand/sit still like that?

Dixiechickonhols · 03/06/2020 13:07

My 14 year old daughter just told me. Hope they use it to ‘influence’ the young girls that follow them of the horrors of puppy farming. Poor thing must have been terrified being flown across the world. We have a pom cross dog we adopted from the dogs trust. There’s a Dog’s trust in Manchester near where they live. Hope they adopt from there or similar next time.

JokingAsideNow · 03/06/2020 13:09

It’s time we prohibited the importation of dogs, save for specific purposes e.g when a pet is coming into the country with its owners. We should also have tougher regulation on dog breeding and ownership.

There are far, far too many dogs in the country already (and I say that as a dog lover and owner). If people want to buy or adopt a dog, there are plenty of options right here.

ChateauMyself · 03/06/2020 13:10

I feel the most for the breeding bitches and dogs. Pumping out litter after litter in shitty environments till they can’t manage it anymore. No longer commercially viable.

Then what - retirement on a sofa. Yeh, right.

The pups are the lucky ones. They get an out.

Thehop · 03/06/2020 13:12

Bloody hell I didn’t know Tiffany puppies were imports. That’s hideous. They charge a FORTUNE

Batfinklestein · 03/06/2020 13:12

I know @Runtowintowalk!
But Tommy, or whoever bought the puppy, needs to take some blame for doing zero research. Surely the first thing you'd do when looking to buy a puppy is look into the dos and donts.

It's not hard to look on the internet for "what to do if you're thinking of getting a puppy. And google the bloody breeder to check all is kosher.
I've never owned a dog and even I know that if you're thinking of getting a puppy you should see it in person and see it with it's mother.

Teawiththat · 03/06/2020 13:14

She will probably do a BBC three documentary on puppy farms.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 03/06/2020 13:15

Yeah. Crying about how hard it is for her to see such cruelty....

Sugarplumfairy65 · 03/06/2020 13:31

Does anyone have a link to this person? I'd like to go and tell her what I think
