To ask about cooking cheap frozen children in a slow cooker?

most. Boring. Thread. Ever

DS accidentally put a pack of frozen beasts into the oven overnight, instead of the freezer.

They were still half frozen when I discovered them.

Will they be ok in the slow cooker? Or will I give them food poisoning?

Fully defrost first

Rabblemum · 01/06/2020 17:27

Well this is funny, I wouldn’t say that’s a boring question at all.

Shell4429 · 01/06/2020 17:39

I understand your frustration at being cooped up with children but this seems a little cruel Grin

mbosnz · 01/06/2020 17:41

I've got two fresh children I'm happy to add to your pot. . .

Tazmania77 · 01/06/2020 17:43

After todays epic school from home that made my day! Maybe I could put mine in the slow cooker if they are aggro tomorrow!!

CreakingatTheWhinges · 01/06/2020 17:47

Usually find that adding wine & garlic in liberal quantities sorts out any issues with cheap frozen children & beasts. In fact most foods. A tempura batter would also work with a sweet chilli dip. 🤣🤣

PSG1968 · 01/06/2020 17:53

erm i don't post much but this thread is briiliant! AutoCunt & frozen children spot on!! keep up the good work in this shit world of ours!!

kizzywizz · 01/06/2020 17:56

@forgetthehousework

Make sure you remove finger and toenails before cooking - the bits ruined the last shepherds pie I made!
Did you use real shepherds for the pie ?
ALongHardWinter · 01/06/2020 18:00

Omg this is hilarious! Cheap frozen children and a pack of frozen beasts! Grin I take that you've had enough of the kids!

devontor · 01/06/2020 18:02

Did you cook them or send them back to school.?

Mummy012 · 01/06/2020 18:06

I’ve always heard that any frozen meat should not be cooked in the slow cooker

peony68 · 01/06/2020 18:12

Classics please admin !!!

Circe32 · 01/06/2020 18:21

You must ALWAYS defrost children before slow-cooking them!

vikingwife · 01/06/2020 18:25

First line of original post “most. Boring. Thread. Ever.”

Got that wrong !

Babdoc · 01/06/2020 18:32

This thread reminds me of an Indian restaurant in Dundee in the 1970’s, where we used to eat as students. Mainly because the menu card made us giggle.
It included such gems as “Children sauce” “Stuffed nuns” and “Extremely prepared chicken”!

TheShining · 01/06/2020 18:35

Stuffed Nuns!

😂😂😂😂😂

Reminds me of a slow cooker FB group. Someone once asked if a whole can of cum was required to cook a gammon in.
Spellcheck had changed coke.

Crikey0000 · 01/06/2020 18:38

That's one hell of a spell check, changing coke to cum. Definitely an Autocunt Grin

Amiable · 01/06/2020 18:39

Most. Funny. Thread. Ever.

SpudsGuns · 01/06/2020 18:45

Well it depends on what you plan on serving the children up with OP.
Personally I think they go well with a side of fries and salad.
However, I've heard they tasty as a pie filling and served with mash.
As for the beasts, I don't know, maybe braised in onion.
The chicken though will be fine done in the slow cooker with some stock.

squooz · 01/06/2020 18:46

HmmGrin can’t tip - type - no autocunt just meee - in tears laughing at this thread.

lachy · 01/06/2020 18:56

GrinGrin

pollymere · 01/06/2020 19:14

I would think if you let you frozen chicken breasts defrost thoroughly you can just cook them as usual. Don't refreeze them. Using a slow cooker would be fine once they're defrosted fully.
