those uncritical of the gov are allowed to answer it. @CendrillonSings

Gove did.

sleepingpup · 29/05/2020 21:50

😁

CendrillonSings · 29/05/2020 22:10

Tell you what, let’s do a deal. I’ll answer sleepingpup’s question if you first tell me what court is going to try Cummings. Seems fair to me.

Whaddya say? Smile

SabrinaThwaite · 29/05/2020 22:21

Tell you what, @CendrillonSings, since we know that Durham Police aren’t taking retrospective action (and this wasn’t actually part of the discussion, but it seems you failed to take that on board), why don’t you just answer the question from @sleepingpup?

Do you believe Cummings when he said he drove to Barnard Castle to test his eyesight?

It’s not a difficult question - yes or no?

SabrinaThwaite · 29/05/2020 22:34

Oh look, more:

If you were annoyed at Dominic Cummings before
sleepingpup · 29/05/2020 22:59

🤷‍♀️

Tricky question?

NYMM · 29/05/2020 23:21

If anyone has suffered from hayfever they'd understand that itchy eyes can affect driving. You think you're ok but wouldn't know for sure unless you try.

I don't support what DC did but I can see why he might have wanted to check.

CendrillonSings · 29/05/2020 23:24

That’s not the deal, SabrinaThwaite, so I’ll ask again:

What court will try Dominic Cummings?

It should be so easy for an eminent legal mind to answer.

SabrinaThwaite · 29/05/2020 23:28

@CendrillonSings

We’ve been through this, Durham Police are not applying retrospective action. There’s your answer.

Now it’s our turn:

Do you believe Cummings when he said he drove to Barnard Castle to test his eyesight?

It’s not a difficult question - yes or no?

NYMM · 29/05/2020 23:32

I'll answer. Yes, I think he might have, but none of us will ever know.

CendrillonSings · 29/05/2020 23:33

We’ve been through this, Durham Police are not applying retrospective action. There’s your answer.

So to be clear, your answer is ‘No court whatsoever’. Thank you.

Do you believe Cummings when he said he drove to Barnard Castle to test his eyesight?

I’d say that was not the most obvious reason to go for a drive, but since I wasn’t there and have no evidence that he didn’t need to test his eyesight, I’m happy to take his word for it.

There we go Smile

SabrinaThwaite · 29/05/2020 23:38

So to be clear, your answer is ‘No court whatsoever’. Thank you.

Duh. What part of the Durham Police statement were you struggling with?

I’d say that was not the most obvious reason to go for a drive, but since I wasn’t there and have no evidence that he didn’t need to test his eyesight, I’m happy to take his word for it.

No surprises there then. @CendrillonSings thinks that driving 60 miles with your wife and child in the car is a valid reason for testing your eyesight.

FliesandPies · 29/05/2020 23:39

I'll answer. Yes, I think he might have, but none of us will ever know.

That's not an answer. And since you actually think it's sensible thing to do perhaps you're not really of a sound enough mind to form an opinion.

sleepingpup · 29/05/2020 23:53

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😁😁😁😁😂
😂😂😂😂😁😁😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😁

well @CendrillonSings You're loyal I'll give you that.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😄😂😂😄😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

i'm embarrassed for you.

Eye test 😄

FliesandPies · 30/05/2020 00:01

That's not loyalty, it's mindless allegiance.

NYMM · 30/05/2020 00:03

FliesandPies.....
Is your reading comprehension so poor that you've read something I didn't actually write?

Par for the course on here...

Alsohuman · 30/05/2020 00:04

I really hope you have the decency never to mock anyone else ever again after that @CendrillonSings. Be assured that will return to haunt you.

SabrinaThwaite · 30/05/2020 00:04

“I’m happy to take his word for it.”

Fuck me dead.

“I’m happy for Cummings to drive 60 miles with his family in the car to prove he’s not as blind as a bat”.

Alsohuman · 30/05/2020 00:07

Even Michael Gove, Cummings’ biggest fan in government, stopped himself saying that because he realised how absurd it was.

CendrillonSings · 30/05/2020 00:09

Alsohuman

I really hope you have the decency never to mock anyone else ever again after that

Still think Boris will be out by Christmas? ‘Cos that prediction will merit an awful lot of mockery.

Be assured that will return to haunt you.

Oh, no! It would be like being haunted by a dead sheep Grin

FliesandPies · 30/05/2020 00:09

NYMM My reading comprehension is fine. You wrote that you could understand why Cummings would need to drive in order to check that he was safe to drive.

CendrillonSings · 30/05/2020 00:11

SabrinaThwaite

Duh. What part of the Durham Police statement were you struggling with?

The part where your long legal discussion was 100% pointless because it will never have any practical effect on anything? Smile

Alsohuman · 30/05/2020 00:12

You think your gullibility is like a dead sheep? Well that’s novel. As to my prediction, we’ll see - it’s not exactly going swimmingly now, is it? Or do you think your hero is “fab” like another pp?

SabrinaThwaite · 30/05/2020 00:13

On that LBC interview I don’t think Gove even consciously stopped himself, I think on every mental and physical level there was no way even he could say it.
