@HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend was telling a poster she was banned for breaking MNHQ guidelines ... when the poster wasn’t even banned.

Isn’t context a wonderful thing, massively over exaggeration... said poster started a thread saying she was banned for her opinions on DC.... I advise she would have been banned for breaking the rules... not her opinions!! MNHQ then stated they had not banned the poster.. and advised she contact MN tech!!

*No @HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend The bullying at its worse was when a black man got tasered for making a journey.

Didn’t realise their was one type of bullying Hmm, what happened to the #bekind “movement” Hmm

The medic and public outrage is disgusting! Media vilifying him for breaking lockdown rules can’t even follow the guidelines themselves!

MaxNormal · 25/05/2020 21:23

The #bekind movement was a load of utter wank.

Peregrina · 25/05/2020 21:24

I assume that the media are using their instinct as to whether the lockdown rules about distance need apply.

SophieB100 · 25/05/2020 21:24

The media were not hounding him when this happened. Let's remember that week - numbers were rising, Boris was ill, Raab and Hancock and Rishi were handling briefings. We were all in the early stages of lockdown, watching briefings and gasping at the rising death toll. Looking at Italy and thinking, "Oh, god, we're a month behind...surely we can't have this ahead of this". We were adapting to home schooling, getting food and trying to adapt. PPE and lack of ventilators dominated the news. There was far more to worry about for us, the media and the country than the PM's Aide.

He might choose to believe that hounding him was uppermost in the media's minds, but it wasn't. He was insignificant in the enormity of that time. Regardless of how he wishes he wasn't.

I said earlier this is Johnson’s poll tax and it won’t go away. If he’s still PM at Christmas I’ll eat my shoes.

I'd love for you to be right ... but I fear you better start boiling the leather now and add seasonings, they might just be palatable by Christmas.

BackInTime · 25/05/2020 21:28

A willingness to lie to the public come easy for Mr Cummings, remember the £350 million a day for the NHS on the big red bus was all his idea. He knew it was a lie but it bought votes so he didn't care. This man has no morals, he loves to play mind games with the public and thinks we are all inferior plebs.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 25/05/2020 21:30

The #bekind movement was a load of utter wank.

I absolutely agree, sentiment still stands however.

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 21:31

I'd like to know more about the little boy being taken to hospital. He said they phoned 999 because their Son had a temperature and had been sick. NHS advice is to phone 111 if you think your child has CV and numerous people have reported that they were told to monitor the situation and only take the child to hospital if symptoms worsened significantly.

Who went with their Son to hospital? I assume he didn't go alone after all the hoo-ha about childcare. Did one of the parents go? Did they inform staff they had CV symptoms?

Or did the grandparents or neices-of-mercy go in which case isolation was broken?

Frazzled2207 · 25/05/2020 21:32

sorry not rtft thread but someone on twitter posted that Patrick Vallance and Chris Whitty were supposed to be doing the press conference today but were photographed scarpering off just a few minutes before.

Oakmaiden · 25/05/2020 21:37

Who went with their Son to hospital?

MSM reports that the mother went with the child and stayed overnight with him, and DC collected them the following day.

Oh, Alsohuman, still bringing joy to the world with your comical political predictions? I hope you have tasty shoes! Grin

said poster started a thread saying she was banned for her opinions on DC.... I advise she would have been banned for breaking the rules...

Actually @Haud you said to the poster ‘you were banned because you broke the guidelines’, which is distressing for someone. You should have been kinder.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 25/05/2020 21:44

She wasn’t asking for support or sympathy, she was mad as she believed she had been banned for her comments on DC.

If a poster has been banned, they are banned because they have broken the rules.

Nothing wrong at all in stating this.

Hadenoughfornow · 25/05/2020 21:45

He went to pick up his wife and child in the modst of this horrible disease as described by his wife.

But 24 hours later, he said ‘I feel weird’ and collapsed. I felt breathless, sometimes achy, but Dom couldn’t get out of bed. Day in, day out for ten days he lay doggo with a high fever and spasms that made the muscles lump and twitch in his legs. He could breathe, but only in a limited, shallow way.

After a week, we reached peak corona uncertainty. Day six is a turning point, I was told: that’s when you either get better or head for ICU. But was Dom fighting off the bug or was he heading for a ventilator? Who knew? I sat on his bed staring at his chest, trying to count his breaths per minute. The little oxygen reader we’d bought on Amazon indicated that he should be in hospital, but his lips weren’t blue and he could talk in full sentences, such as: ‘Please stop staring at my chest, sweetheart

@HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend and yet other people asked how come she was able to post. You said she was banned because you disagreed with her on Cummings. Below the belt.

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 21:48

So were they still in the isolation period? I got really confused about the timeline Confused

Yes Cummings said in his conference today that a couple of days after they arrived in Durham, their son got sick. An ambulance took him to hospital and DC picked his son and wife up the next day, but because he was isolating he didn’t get out of the car. Very bizarre that the nieces didn’t help.

Somerville · 25/05/2020 21:54

I got really confused about the timeline

That wasn't just you. He tried to drown us all in (dull) detail. It will be interesting to see the timeline in the newspapers tomorrow...

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 25/05/2020 21:54

@HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend and yet other people asked how come she was able to post. You said she was banned because you disagreed with her on Cummings. Below the belt.

After I posted... I was one of the first to post, however posters can still be “banned” yet still be able to post starting another profile.

We see it daily on here.

SharonasCorona · 25/05/2020 21:55

I don’t think you can post when you’ve been banned. I’ve never seen that.

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 21:57

His wife went to the hospital even though she was symptomatic with CV and broke isolation even though, from the sounds of it, their Son did not meet the criteria for CV hospital admission.

I wonder if Cummings used his position to make that happen?

Oakmaiden · 25/05/2020 21:58

March 27 - wife reports feeling unwell. DC returns home and then goes back to work.

March 27-28 family travel to Durham

March 29? DC becomes unwell

night of 2 April child becomes unwell and goes to hospital with mother

3 April DC collects wife and child from hospital

April 5 DC seen in garden

April 12 Sightseeing tour of Co.Durham

April 13 Family travel home

April 14 DC returns to work

So the mother might have been out of the isolation phase by that evening. By the skin of her teeth.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 25/05/2020 21:59

You said she was banned because you disagreed with her on Cummings. Below the belt.

Hmm No I absolutely did not do this, nor have I disagreed with her on Cummings, and my posting history will prove this Smile

I did say she would not have been banned for her opinion however would have been banned for breaking the rules (as SHE believed she was banned for HER comments on DC) in which other posters agreed with me!

Or are we going to lie and say something I haven’t done to fit your own narrative Confused
