Due to the lockdown, many houses are doing virtual tours.

Who doesn't love Rightmove?

I was looking at a £11m flat in Pimlico on it earlier. It was really garish. A fab waste of time.

Funko · 15/05/2020 20:54

I've mentally purchased and moved in to many many houses in the last few weeks.

I've even gone as far as googling local trades to update things I'm not keen on. Repainting the fitted wardrobes and refitting the kitchen for example.

On one property I'm removing the conservatory and building an orangery.

I'm very very busy project managing this imaginary life. I need a holiday.

Mytimetogo · 15/05/2020 20:56

@sparklesocks Just looked, the one with the glass walls and bath tubs? What's with the throws on the sofas, I mean, surely they could afford to replace the sofas if the kids let the Guinea pig wee on them?!

@funko 😂 That's being dedicated to cause.

There's one in Pimlico for £7.5m. Why has no one arranged the cushions properly?

I love browsing rightmove. Please link to any interesting ones, I've not looked at any virtual tours yet!

Sparklesocks · 15/05/2020 21:01

@Mytimetogo this one. I wonder if the egg bed and giant teddy are included in the cost

It's like someone put house furniture in a conference room. Grin

topcat2014 · 15/05/2020 21:06

I am moving into small holdings in Wales

pussycatinboots · 15/05/2020 21:06

Sparkle not one, but two glass baths??? How terribly common.

Sparklesocks · 15/05/2020 21:09

@pussycatinboots good to have a spare I suppose!!

Drogonssmile · 15/05/2020 21:10

One of my favourite pastimes is browsing Rightmove! I have a good look at the floor plan and decide who would have each bedroom etc. then have a look at the pictures. If I really like it I'll have a look at the nearest schools! Obviously these houses are all at least £1m Smile

Mytimetogo · 15/05/2020 21:11

@sparkle Yeah, that's the one. What's with the throws on the the sofas??! Like a student house. The hall reminds me of a nightclub. Huge though.

Mytimetogo · 15/05/2020 21:12

@pussycat Glass tubs. Why oh why would you do it to yourself?!?! 🤭🙈

@Mytimetogo it’s like a where’s wally picture, you find something new everytime

NowSissyThatWalk · 15/05/2020 21:13

That pimlico one!! Confused It looks like the Big Brother house.

Please can people share more links, I love Rightmove, sorted in descending order from highest price of course.

StepAwayFromGoogle · 15/05/2020 21:16

£11m for a three bed apartment?!?!

minielise · 15/05/2020 21:37

@Sparklesocks that glass bath! I would be mortified someone walking in and seeing my smushed arse in that, what’s with the mirror too?

Stripeytopgirl · 15/05/2020 21:41

Had to browse pimlico on rightmove after seeing this friend - What the fuck is all I have to say...

Reallynowdear · 15/05/2020 21:42

Love a bit of Rightmove

goingoverground · 15/05/2020 21:43

I think the "throws" might be animal skins, if you look closely.

The whole glass jacuzzi thing reminds me of the time I accidentally checked into a love hotel brothel.

slipperywhensparticus · 15/05/2020 21:47

I want an egg bed! I'm just imagining how my cats would react to an egg bed

Bouledeneige · 15/05/2020 21:48

I've been browsing madly all lockdown. But I just up my budget by £300,000 so its still affordable (Ha!) and look what I could get in prettier parts of the country than I live in (London). Because its ludicrous what you could get for London property prices. I'd go from a 3 bed flat or house in my area to a 8 bed house in the country.

But that £11m Pimlico flat is ugly as hell. The bedrooms have glass walls too. As well as the baths and showers.

Sparklesocks · 15/05/2020 21:48

If anyone needs a bit more space, how about this? It’s a terraced house, but 60 bedrooms so hopefully if your neighbours have the tv on too loud you can just try another room. Needs a bit of paint though

A bargain for what seems to be an entire church.

I’m baffled by these super high listings because I can’t imagine the mega rich browse rightmove? Surely they have bespoke estate agents who run around and create personalised presentations of suitable properties for them? Also I like that the station distances are still on there, as if someone with enough cash to buy a £25m house needs to a short walk to the jubilee line.
