Due to the lockdown, many houses are doing virtual tours.

Who doesn't love Rightmove?

It's a long way to the pub though, @pandarific

More seriously, I see it has had quite significant price drops. It is clearly a niche market.

CamberGirl · 16/05/2020 22:38

Ohhh when I win the lottery I'm definitely buying the Torquay one. Be nice to move back home.

FlamingoAndJohn · 16/05/2020 23:08

I love the way this looks like nothing from the front.

Are you all mad? Haven't you seen enough horror movies? Don't you know that living on an island GUARENTEES that you will be cut off from the mainland JUST when a crazed psychopath decides to hunt you down?

antipodalpizza · 17/05/2020 05:37

I like this house but no so sure about the address Hmm www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-77883805.html

Fallsballs · 17/05/2020 07:44

Yep, wouldn’t be pleasant having to say that on the phone. Nice clean house though.

GeraltOfRivia · 17/05/2020 07:47

We found our perfect house. Sadly £400k over budget...

changeagainandagain · 17/05/2020 09:23

@Juanmorebeer that made me laugh!

CherryValanc · 17/05/2020 09:24

@FlamingoAndJohn that old shop is something else isn't it!

geojojo · 17/05/2020 09:31

Oh my word, love that butchers shop!

Fallsballs · 17/05/2020 10:03

I’d be wary of a faint whiff of meat in the air and all that tile and wood polishing.

CaptainBrickbeard · 17/05/2020 10:10

A lot of my Rightmove fantasising is ruined by the horrific trend for open en suites or glass walled bathrooms. Is there a correlation between having squillions of pounds and wanting to watch people/be watched going about your ablutions??

I am obsessed with privacy; I’m always looking for ones with totally secluded gardens and lots of rooms so I could occupy the East Wing by myself anyway. Individual bathrooms with locks and solid walls. I don’t know if you can tell I am on lockdown with young children here..?

FlamingoAndJohn · 17/05/2020 10:21

I used to spend many happy hours looking at tiny bedsit or one bed flats in London.

WitchyMoo · 17/05/2020 10:32

I've mentally moved myself to my very own island in Canada .. all self sufficient for at least a year . One home on one island, no other fucker around ... absolute bliss

Fallsballs · 17/05/2020 11:35

I think all the twatty bathroom stuff is based on the premise you are so loaded you can change the bathroom design when it looks tatty or you move house. It’s the insta worthy shite too I imagine.
Also some people don’t really care or notice, they get all excited at the uttering of “en suite” and don’t notice there no windows, damp and a shower from 1990.

Mytimetogo · 17/05/2020 21:39

@FlamingoandJohn I LOVE that butcher's shop. Thanks for sharing.

We have spent hours, going to see in person on Monday!

AlexTheLittleCat · 21/05/2020 11:45

£2.5 million in one of the best regency squares in brighton, but... the decor. Why is everything brown?!

It's very expensive decor but very particular taste! It's not my cup of tea but can see why someone would like it.

It sold in 2019, the old photos have the same decor. I'm a bit confused to why but maybe they listed it with another agent before this one?

Just put an offer on today on a workshop/shed thing with Pp to convert to holiday cottage.

Maybe not the most rational thing to do..

isseywith4vampirecats · 24/05/2020 19:52
