Now I know that year on year, ASOS never fail to make some absolute monstrosities. Injurious to the eyes. Painful to behold. Insults to the good name of footwear.

But these... these might just be the ugliest I’ve ever seen.

I've seen worse. I mean I've definitely seen much much better, but I have seen worse.

However, any leg fat and it will be spilling out around the straps won't it. My legs would look like raw sausages wrapped in string.

You’d have to tie them tightly at the top to stop them sliding down your legs. Then when you sat down and your thighs squidged out a bit (even thin thighs do this) you’d have to untie them or they’d be horribly uncomfortable.

Oh god, this style was fashionable when I was a teenager/young adult and I'm sure I had a pair similar but in black. Thank fuck there was no social media then, so no lasting evidence of how daft I must have looked. It was round about the time that wearing a skirt over trousers was "in" too, me and my pals all did it and thought we were the bees knees. We looked like rejects from Atomic Kitten.
