To think ASOS have succeeded in making the ugliest shoes of all time?

Now I know that year on year, ASOS never fail to make some absolute monstrosities. Injurious to the eyes. Painful to behold. Insults to the good name of footwear.

But these... these might just be the ugliest I’ve ever seen.

Watch the video to see them in all their hideous glory...

Can anyone top that?

You would think that if they are going to photograph and video the shoes that they would get them on the model properly.
I imagine that the straps should criss cross nicely up the leg with the cross at the front .
What we have is a strap that looks like it was wrapped haphazardly around the legs . Some of the straps are sideways on which will be painful before very long - thin plastic straps will do that.

I had some shoes that you tied round..not quite as extreme as those. Except tied them to tightly round my ankle and have 2 scars there..woops.

ASOS have so many ugly shoes on there. They seem to love pom pom ones..and charge crazy amounts for them. You could just stick a pompom on with glue

I actually saw a woman wearing similar sandals to these last summer. She wasn't the slimmest and the straps just made her legs look like hams. But tbh I'm not sure they'd be flattering on even the shapeliest of legs!

There was a thread on here some time ago about Irregular Choice shoes.

The poster had ££££ worth of them in pride of place a display case. Her friend has visited with her child and the child had wanted to take them out, try them on and play with them.

The friend thought the poster was being mean and the poster was upset because, obviously, she didn't want her (beautiful) expensive shoes taken out and used as dressing up toys.

Anyone else remember the thread?

You want ugly? Irregular Choice is definitely the way to go.

My first thought on them is they look like something a gladiatorial hooker would wear!

My dh would go wild if I wore them though...may order a pair for a laugh!

I bought a pair of irregular choice shoes, they're flat and I think they're nice. However I had to take them to get them soled which covered the pretty sole because it was insanely slippery! So even if you agree with the fashion choice they're overpriced.

ASOS makes some absolute stinkers. My friend and I play a game called "who the fuck is your market?", which consists of us sending each other screenshots of some of unspeakably ugly shit we find on ASOS Grin

I know it must be that I am getting old, but I can honestly say that for the last 10 years I have not found one pair of sandals that I like, they are all hideous. What has happened?
