To feel like the only woman left who doesn't shave her pubes? 😂

During a group WhatsApp with friends last night, conversation (somehow!) turned to pubes. It would seem I am the only one who doesn't shave the whole lot off. I've done it a couple of times in the past but it itched when growing back and I actually feel sexier with a bit of a muff! Does anyone else not shave these days or am I a vile ogre?

Ah didn't take long for the first comment about it being weird for someone to do what they choose to do with their own pubes. Predictable!

I don't like an untrimmed bush on myself but I would never say 'ugh' about someone else's body or make any judgements about it Hmm

I do. I prefer it, my husband doesn't care either way. Most of my friends wax, as did the women I have been with in the past. It is up to each individual though

I think that you should treat your pubes like your head hair. Keep it neat,and glossy, and perhaps once in a while, treat it to some hair dye of your choice. Other than this, just shave it all off, like some women are doing with their head hair now.

I can't be arsed to shave anything that isn't going to been seen by the general public without glasses in bright light. That includes ankles!

It's like a thread I saw the other day with someone doing 2 hours of personal maintenance every day. Each to their own, but I haven't the time, energy or inclination.

I trim to a short length (still just long enough that I don't get the brillo pad feel), and neaten the bikini line. Nothing more.

I think it looks SO weird on grown women to have it completely shaved off. Trimmed, tidied, whatever, fine. But completely bare? Ugh.

Why do you care so much about other womens' pubes?

I used to trim it (single so don't even bother doing that) but never more than that.
I don't shave my legs either, but I'm not that hairy. I do shave my underarms.

It is a bit pathetic though because it doesn’t serve any purpose.
Getting a Brazilian ( landing strip ) does serve a useful purpose for those of us with a string thick black bush.
But what good ties taking the front off serve? Like any other fashion choice you will get people liking the look or not.

Obviously women are entitled to do whatever they like with their hair but that doesn’t mean anyone else can’t give an opinion.

I go from bald eagle (20% of the time - feeling organised) to full Bush (80% of the time - eeling disorganised/lazy). My DP doesn't seem to mind either way, so that's probably why I become complacent about it. I hate having to shave the difficult 'corners' and the itch after just a couple of days when it starts to grow back! I'm fair haired so can probably get away with it... Probably?!?!

Well, what purpose do tattoos serve? Piercings? Dying one’s hair? Styling hair a particular way? Wearing nice clothes? All done because the person chooses to do them, they like the ‘look’. Would you call them all pathetic?
