To feel like the only woman left who doesn't shave her pubes? 😂

During a group WhatsApp with friends last night, conversation (somehow!) turned to pubes. It would seem I am the only one who doesn't shave the whole lot off. I've done it a couple of times in the past but it itched when growing back and I actually feel sexier with a bit of a muff! Does anyone else not shave these days or am I a vile ogre?

Why does anyone care what anyone else’s fanny looks like.

I don’t. I trim but don’t shave. I did when I was younger but I always hated it. Never very smoothie even after shaving, itchy when starting to grow - f**k that. I just trim now.

Post-menopause here, bush is naturally a lot less dense than it was, it's perfect actually, so no more waxing for me. I quite liked the full Hollywood waxing in a way but my fairly new DP likes me natural. As that means he is happy to spend even more time with his face in my fanny, I'm not going to object! Cheaper too

I never have - why would a woman want to have the genitalia of a pre-pubescent girl? And I'd be very suspicious of any partner who wanted me to (for the same reason)
Anyway, it mostly disappears when you get beyond the menopause (in my experience, anyway.

I have never ever discussed pubes with anyone and would be horrified if anyone ever mentioned it to me. Is this normal? I’m baffled.

I’m baffled that friend DONT talk about these things. My friends and I talk about EVERYTHING.

I like getting a full wax (I actually love the feel of the hair being removed. I love epilating and threading too) but only get one maybe once a year. I like having a full bush and if dp cared, he wouldn't be my dp.

You're not the only one. I can't imagine why anyone would want to shave or wax their pubic area - or why anyone would want to have sex with someone who shaved or waxed their pubic area.

About my earlier post - it was a joke and I did find it funny at the time it’s not offensive to me. It is not his preference at all, I’d be more concerned about a man who only liked the bald look!
And for what it’s worth the women I work with have had lunch time discussions about shaving nether regions (nothing is off limits!) and a few made the same comment!

I love my bush, but I don't get why people get so worked up about what other people do. What is most important to me is that women are free to do what they want with their own body hair without interference from their partners, other women or anyone else! It's not shameful/dirty/weird to shave it off, to grow it wild or anything in between.
