I'm just nosey and wonder which industries are classed as key workers other than the NHS Police Fire Brigade and Shop Staff.

I know of 3 in my family.

Armed Forces
Social Worker
Dog Unit Support

Rest of the family are working from home but aren't key workers so can't actually go out to work.

My husband works for a company that manufactures equipment for supermarkets.

I'm on maternity leave but I am an animal care assistant in an emergency veterinary practice. If I wasn't on maternity I would still be working as usual

People can go to work if they can't work from home.

It’s not key workers who are working.
It’s anyone who can’t work from home in an industry that hasn’t been forcibly closed by the government (large scale sporting/entertainment events, certain retail, restaurants and bars.)

Everyone else could be going to work.

It's NEVER been just key workers..

If you cannot work from home, and you can socially distance whilst working... then work.

I can't do some of my work from home, but if my clients were happy for me to go to their homes, and we could socially distance whilst doing it (for example aquarium maintenance we would do if the client wanted it), then we would.

Whilst the government is going to hand out some money in June, I can't just not work if work is there and can be done!

I run a post room for a small photography equipment company. We're allowed to open as an online retailer so we've gone down to a skeleton staff but we're still there.

Ok I didn't realise
