Isn’t there a princess in Europe that’s now working as a HCA?

A queen somewhere in Asia cooking for the poor?

Harry and Meghan delivering meals?

Bet if Diana was here she’d be out doing everything in her power to help the ordinary folk 💪

I believe they are just as useless, but they are reasonably allowed to take it easy.

I'm no fan of the royals and frankly couldn't care less what they do, but I think people are being incredibly naive if they think the future king and queen of this country are going to be allowed to go out and about for photo opportunities at the moment, even if they wanted to, which I very much doubt they do.

The are going to be kept as far away from the likelihood of catching this virus as possible.

I would rather blame the government for the lack of PPE, lack of NHS funding and low pay than William and Kate for staying home.
Yes some people will argue we pay too much, some people will say they are fabulous. Ultimately they are not to blame for this though.

They are completely irrelevant and useless, high time to get rid of the Monarchy. They could at least stay well away from the cameras and show a bit of dignity, they would get more respect. They were the first ones to run to their holiday palaces when the rest of the country was told not to

Their complete lack of leadership will see them wither into irrelevance, and they will have no one to blame but their own lack of work ethic. High time we start to look at what they actually do, and bring to the county.

@IhateBoswell, yes, you are right. I personally am very sorry I was so inflamed and responded in such an unnecessary way. (I still think that the royal family have performed abysmally in the midst of this pandemic - and I’d rather see Captain Tom’s profile on my postage stamps in future rather than our (absent) queen). And, as a single parent to two, I’d love to have a 10-minute break from homeschooling hell, for my kids to listen to bedtime stories from Wills & Catherine.

Homeschooling fun twinkly little laugh.
This is one of many reasons why they are so out of touch. I’ve had friend sobbing because they are trying to home school their children whilst working nights in a shitty flat.
And then you get Kate, beautiful hair ( I’ve always wondered if she has extensions) makeup telling us homeschooling fun.

William is in training to be Head of State. He has valuable qualifications he could utilise to set an example. He chooses not to. He chooses to hide away at his stately home and let the rest of us (with less money and actual jobs) volunteer to help instead.

TBH ...I don’t actually care ..am just chilling after a shift at a care home where we are trying to ensure our residents safety and wellbeing and god forbid our safety...cup of tea and bed for me !!!

Really sensible idea. Get them both in aprons (oh no there aren't any) on a ward. With 27 security guards all PPEd up getting in the way and putting people at risk

What are they doing? Probably the same as you, OP, messing around on the Internet. What would you like them to be doing? Why should Kate be working in a hospital? She’s probably got no more medical qualifications than a first aid badge from the Brownies.
