Yes it is valid, in the same way the flat earthers have a valid opinion.

We are not slagging off a young family that live over the road. We are talking about our future Head of State who lives a life of unimaginable luxury at our expense. if you are that emotionally invested in a couple that are happily locking themselves away from the likes of you, you really need more self esteem.

As for doing their best, spare me. Insulting to the nurses and supermarket workers that are facing the disease every day to keep your life running. They are the ones doing their best, not this idle pair.

Yes.

They are actually doing something and as a result will raise millions for charity. They have worked hard to get where they are and still need to work when this is over in order to to stay there. They are doing more than the Royals in every way. At the very least they could acknowledge how fortunate they are instead of the 'oh we're just like you'd act but that would involve them saying 'yes were in lockdown and have elderly family but we are very fortunate and understand that many people are struggling'. They didnt. It was all about how much they are suffering with us, when they are not.

Wolfgirrl - Some people like the royal family some don't, just because Madame Bee has a different opinion to you there's no need for personal attacks, low self esteem indeed!

I’m not seeing many (If any) sit on their arse.

I’m seeing people frantically try to keep businesses afloat, wfh under impossible conditions, home school their kids, worry about money, volunteer their skills and services for the vulnerable and the front line.

And none of them in receipt of masses of public money and a remit to lead the nation.

I am a public servant and am very lucky that I have been able to continue to work.

It’s a distraction and I don’t know how I would cope otherwise.

I also am volunteering for the NHS not because it’s heroic, because that’s helping me cope.

I am not going to stand in judgement of what others are doing though (as long as following government guidelines).

As long as we all come through it.

Anything you do or give really is best kept to yourself.
