To ask if you've treated yourself to something as a pick me up right now, and what it is

So We're all stuck in as we know. I have a newborn and a 2.5yo, and DH wfh so most of my day is chaos with one millisecond of the day to myself. Oh and its my birthday this week (woooo).
I've not spent any money of late as DH does our food shop (I cover all bills and budgeted some spending money for mat leave). I am still in mat clothes thanks to not being able to get new ones I can fit in but I am comfy and reluctant to have to return items. I am generally not someone that spends money on myself, it mostly goes on the kids.

But like most, I am low and anxious, and want to 'treat' myself but no idea where to start in the current climate.

So has anyone treated themselves and if so what, why and did it work??

@Bridecilla some are large enough to put in a sandwich bag and smash in half. Blackberry and dragons egg certainly are. Just had some delivered for the kids.

I’ve just ordered a mini succulent selection from Etsy. Looking at the photos I’m hoping for a couple of varieties I’ve been after for a while.

I LOVE the Dyson AirWrap! I hated it at first but that’s because I wasn’t using it properly. I watched some you tube vids and now I know how to use the barrels correctly it’s a total game changer! It does take a bit of time to get used to it

Some new make up, a new bra and perfume . Really must stop indulging. It's not as if I'm going anywhere 😆

I didn’t know that Snag tights are in difficulty, best tights ever.

I also appear to have bought a weighted blanket!

MagnificentMillie Snag don't qualify for much government support as a relatively new online business. They are asking customers to either stock up today or buy a voucher today to give you 2 for 1 pairs in November. They're also looking at launching a subscription service. I would hate for them to go under a they are the only tights I've ever found which fit & in such great colours.

I bought a weighted blanket before Christmas. I love it!

Face creams. Mostly on the offer but I never normally bother.
Some are rubbish. Sit on the skin.

A lovely garden sofa. Thought we may as well have somewhere comfy to sit outside

I bought an under bed storage box for my shoes, I have sooo many shoes and I'm determined to sort them out, and stop them gathering dust!

Some Yankee candles. They released a chocolate mini egg one for Easter and it is insane.

DH bought me a heated back massager
A subscription to Crime magazine.

Oh and a box of Raffaelo chocolates which, dear reader, I can only liken to crack.

I bought Kindle Unlimited. Best investment ever. Never ending supply of books.
Plus, today, I bought some new bedding. Only a Lidl special, but hey, new bedding!

I watched tv on the sofa yesterday evening under it and it was great. Really comforting.

I tried to sleep under it last night - not so good as I was alternating between being too hot and kicking it off, and then being too cold and dragging it back on to me!

I imagine it will be amazing in the winter though!

Nintendo switch and animal crossing. 😂

New garden table and chairs so I can have a second seating area in the garden. Totally extravagant and unnecessary!
