Cat hating neighbour

My neighbour has told me he is setting a trap in his garden where he will catch any cats who deign to go into his garden in a net and then plunge them into a barrel of water where they will have to stay until he releases them
As if there isn't enough to worry about at the moment...... If I report him, will the RSPCA come out or will I have to wait until he actually hurts a cat before they can do something..

Yes, but what are YOU suggesting people do to keep a cat in? You can’t cage it. They can have major (fatal) stress issues if you keep them in. They don’t appreciate going for a walk on a lead. And they are incredibly slinky and fantastic jumpers so can usually get out even if you do ‘cat proof’. What’s the answer? Do tell!

Responsible cat owners car proof their gardens before getting a cat. It saves the neighbours forking out money to cat proof their gardens to keep your mangy cat out of their garden. Lots of cats owners manage to keep their cats safe.

There are responsible pet owners and there’s those that think everyone should put up cat shit in their gardens every day. Which type of cat owner are you? Let me think.... 🙄
