Husband has CV I think

Husband is an essential worker, so has been working throughout this, he felt unwell yesterday and overnight has got worse.

Hot
No sense of taste
Aching
Really bad pain below his shoulder blades (which is odd!)
Coughing (not continuous but it's there)
When he was getting out of bed for the toilet last night, lots of groans as it was painful moving.

Clearly called in sick today.

My AIBU is, I am scared and whilst he absolutely does not need medical intervention now, when do I know it's getting worse and he does? I am assuming it will be very obvious?

I'm next to him now and I am probably being over sensitive but his breathing seems louder than usual.

Also, I was due to shop, today, so little food in the house, Iceland can deliver tomorrow to elderly, vulnerable and people self isolating, am I justified to use this, or I have a brother who could go shopping for me possibly.

I for some reason never thought it would be us, but I'm sure lots of people feel that way.

I've been a bit sceptical about the Samsung oxygen level readings.
Mine sit between 87 and 92! My heart rate said 181 on the one day!

Then my oximeter arrived and my readings are 97 and heart rate 80.

I don't know which is right, but assuming if my oxygen was as low as 87 I might be struggling with my breath?

I'd be really careful trying to check your sats with a phone app

Is he still improving op? Hope so.

Hello OP, so sorry for not replying sooner, had a rotten week and only just catching up with this thread. Yes, DP did have a headache, though it's a bit late to say that now....

It seems your DH has been on a very similar trajectory, the worrying is horrible. I will say that while DP is well on the road to recovery, it's taking time. He seems ok at a casual glance but the lockdown and staying in with very little exercise is camouflaging the fact that he's far form back to normal and I think its going to take a while to be back to his old self.

He tried going back to work, from home of course, last week and had to give up on a video call as he couldn't talk for longer than about two minutes. He needed to explain a long technical thing to colleagues and was clearly struggling. Luckily his very lovely boss stepped in and said, off you go mate, come back after Easter.

It's been well over three weeks now since he was first ill. He's utterly wiped out.

@PierceHawthornesSexDungeon I am sceptical about my phone measurements but its not an app that takes the reading. Its an infrared sensor that looks at the red blood cells in your finger.
I have seen varying reviews on its accuracy but most say its pretty accurate. If I record it sat on my sofa its 93 ish. If I go in my garden and take a good lungfull of air it goes to 97 - 99.
I wouldn't rely on it but its probably a good guide.
