I wondered this too, there's a definite reduction in the stench of weed as I walk my daily circuit.

our local drug dealer is still out and about on his bike all day doing his deliveries. i imagine most people would have stocked up before we went into lockdown - one of my boyfriend’s friends smokes weed and that’s what he did anyway.

Not sure your average drug dealer will be prioritising social distancing before profits.

Same ways as before I’d guess; they’re used to doing it under the radar of the police

On my estate picking up seems to be the daily exercise for the local users. Dealers are still out and about.

I’ve been thinking about this too. Around my house always stinks of weed, but it doesn’t any more. Our local park was the meeting place for drug exchanges, But they’re not there anymore. Plus, it must be trickier getting the drugs into the country and the county lines must have dried up.
Maybe it’ll be a good thing that comes out of all of this.

I'm abroad and confinement is much stricter, but like you say these people are used to acting under the radar.

I don't imagine many dealers will be too bothered about social distancing. I'd think it's probably as easy as ever.

Same way although it seems little less busy in my neighbourhood for the drug dealers that live here. The weekend before lockdown it was non stop.

Our neighbour has not experienced any supply interruption that I can smell . It's business as usual. He also deals on his bike and it appears to be same shit, different day when it comes to drugs around here.

He gets his daily exercise and provides essential services at the same time.

I can ask one half of the family and get back to you 😂😂

The Economist genuinely just had an article about this. Dealers' business is down generally and coke sales have cratered, but weed is up.

Local drug dealers could teach supermarket or 2 on how to have a strong supply and delivery chain no matter what😂

Friend’s dealer now posts deliveries through the door and takes payment by BACs for safe social distancing xD not sure if deliveries count as your hour of exercise though...

The same as always, it's mostly dial a drug dealer round here with home delivery from some kid on a bike.

My whole area stinks of skunk. It is like the smell of COVID to me.

Toilet roll is much harder to obtain than weed...
