Boris MIA again?

Anyone think it's rather strange that Boris is still out of action and that, yet again, he's nowhere to be seen - a repeat of the election and the floods....

OK - I accept that he is very poorly and unable to do anything other than clap at the present time. Of course he was well during the floods, the Tory leadership election and the general election so I hope he gets better very soon because the UK needs his brand of leadership...

Obviously we don't want to have him out shaking hands with NHS workers but he could be a bit more visable online to prove he's up to leading the country at this time.

Actually I think it may be that given the very negative press headlines today and the testing issues, they have sent Hancock out to see if he can diffuse it. If he can then good in their eyes, and if he can't it they can try a new approach with Boris.

I thought his eyes looked awful. He is clearly unwell.

For Fuck’s Sake.

I can’t stand Boris or the Tory Party.

But DH is on Day 12 of C19. ‘Mild’ in that he is not in danger, does not have the cough. But he has had terrible fevers, days of sweats, chills, aching joints, terrible exhaustion, horrible headaches. No sense of taste or smell. He has made it down to make a cup of tea on some days, has made a few Fb posts, can’t do more.

It is really idiotic and quite dangerous to imagine that this disease is mild if you get it and have symptoms.

Make political points according to your political views OP but you undermine your credibility with this.

It doesn't matter who you are.

Covid 19 is covid 19.

Even mild covid 19 can be like flu is intensity and also mean pneumonia.

We've lost a princess and a diplomat to it globally.
We've lost frontline doctors.
We've lost young children.

The virus doesn't discriminate.

He looked bloody awful yesterday on his video. His eyes looked like he could barely keep them open.

He's running a country through the worst it's seen in over 7 decades.

He probably was run down before getting ill and he certainly hasn't spent a week in bed recovering.

I'm also not his biggest fan. I think he reminds me of a public school boy rallying the trolls to win a rugby match.

But he's a human being and the humane thing to do is be empathetic and wish someone well.

Yes, Boris will get a ventilator if worse comes to worse. The problem is that a ventilator is absolutely no guarantee of survival.
