Where it be about lizard people, 911 or the Government man-making Coronvirus to kill off the vulnerable, what conspiracy theory sends a chill up your spine?

Sorry if a little dark but I have to admit I love a good conspiracy theory and figured I wouldn't be the only one! Plus I need some bedtime reading...

I can easily believe that Beyoncé didn't carry her first child. No conspiracy, just a feigned pregnancy. She was really open with her second pregnancy (twins, common in IVF pregnancies), staged photo shoots etc whereas she was private with the first one and her bump folded in half when seated which is...rare, I would think.

I think the Women's Institute is behind all this. It is an attempt to get us to return to good public hygiene.

Think about it - we are all washing our hands now. Reduced number of people out and about. What is the most important item in the shops and the first thing to run out? Soap.

Maud, Sarah and Gertrude are busy out back mass producing old fashioned cold pressed soap with a bit of lard whilst Kirstie Alsop is out front with wrapping and marketing departments, cracking the whip and giving out advice on how to tie on the labels. It will be the biggest fundraiser to date.

Corona virus was released from a lab and is the start of biowarefare.
The virus was released to kill a few birds with one stone: kill old and sick people, control the masses better through fear, make the rich richer, and see if we can reverse climate change in any way through decreased carbon emissions for a couple of years.
another probability is that the Americans released the virus in Wuhan hoping it would cripple China's economy, China got a handle on it and it blew up in the worlds face and now it's everyone's problem. Or, China released the virus. Probably it was the Americans, as there hasn't been a country in the world as sick and demented as they are when it comes to world domination, wouldn't put anything past them!

This! We've just been bloody lucky that its been 100 years since the last devestating one, thats all. As long as humans have existed there have been huge pandemics, The Black Death, Smallpox, The Spanish Flu. HIV/ AIDS is still classed an ongoing pandemic, Swine Flu was also a pandemic.

This won't wipe out humanity, but it might kill a lot of people and change our lives until such a time that a vaccine or cure is found. Which Ive no doubt will happen eventually. It will just take time!

@Applejaxx yes exactly! There have always been fatal diseases, it's not new. The Black Death wiped out one third of the world population at the time. I'm old enough to remember when smallpox was still a threat, and there was measles, mumps and whooping cough, and German measles was still a threat to unborn babies. Plus in Africa, malaria and AIDS kill millions every year.

@Morgan12 Pentagon is not in DC. Its in Arlington,VA which is a commiter city for DC. Not a whole of tourists in that area.

@BubbleTravel Statue of Liberty was always at Bedlow Island now called Liberty Island. The original torch was heavily damaged in a terrorist attack in 1916. It has been closed to visitors ever since and the original Torch was removed in 1984 because it was too damaged to be repaired. It now resides in the Museum. The photos you are seeing are from the Crown of Lady Liberty. As far as the other Islands.....Several Islands which were basically oyster beds were destroyed by Railroad companies

My favourite is mind control. MK Ultra. Especially the stories around the twins who threw themselves in front of motorway vehicles for no reason. One went on to murder a guy. I LOVE looking up conspiracies!

I’m not a conspiracy theorist AT ALL - I think most of them are stupid but I totally think Beyoncé’s baby bump was fake. It folded. No two ways about it.

And mk ultra is completely true. It has been declassified amongst other former conspiracy theories.

I fucking hate conspiracy theories, I know otherwise good people who are into them and it's a load of shit. Occam's razor is the way to go.

It's not though. Some have proven to be true. MK Ultra, for one. Operation Northwoods for another.

"Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation against the Cuban government that originated within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other U.S. government operatives to both stage and actually commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets, blaming them on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba. The possibilities detailed in the document included the possible assassination of Cuban immigrants, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes to be shot down or given the appearance of being shot down, blowing up a U.S. ship, and orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities. The proposals were rejected by President John F. Kennedy."

If the US government were prepared to shoot down American planes, it doesn't seem so unlikely that there was at least some inside knowledge of 9/11, if not full-blown orchestration.

I read one the other day about the Statue of Liberty. People remember it used to be on Ellis Island but apparently has never been there and has always been on Liberty Island. Also people remember visiting the torch level and pictures exist from these visits but the torch has never been open or hasn’t been open for years and years. I’ll see if I can find what I was reading.
Perhaps it changed locations after the Ghostbusters sent it for a walk through the city!

My favourite, though, is the one who that says the Moon Landings never happened, generally propagated by people who are clueless about how the missions actually worked, or have any idea about radiation and temperature. 'Where are the stars' has to be the most moronic question ever, if you know anything at all about photography.
