To not do party bags?

And just hand out cake wrapped in napkins? Party Saturday and totally forgot about sodding party bags. They are a waste of time and money anyway. Would you panic buy something or not?

I hate them but it is expected. For my DS I had paper bags with a little wooden toy in (cost

Adult children now, so started parenting a long time ago. I made a stand right from the start to never do party bags, but made sure prizes for games etc were nice. No one died, children had and still have lots of friends.

Of course you need to do party bags.

Party was today.

You don’t need much in them! All a bag needs is a piece of cake, mini love-hearts, a lolly a balloon and a pencil and you’re done! Literally pence each.

@SkaLaLand good for you! I knew it would be fine!! More parents should do this!! 🙌👏

For my daughters 1st birthday I did party bags, I used those canvas shopping bags you get in poundland with Disney characters on. I put a bouncy ball, bubbles, wooden book, a sweet, a chocolate, colouring book and pencils

The younger 1 year olds got a wooden book, soft toy and some bubbles.
