OK........ I’m going to go against the grain here, so you have another viewpoint.
I occasionally buy fakes, I buy them directly from the producers in China (therefore cutting out the organised crime middlemen).
I source then through the Reddit community “repladies” (r/repladies), and the majority of them are not cheap BUT they are high quality, Aka 1:1 copies.

Have a quick browse through the forum and I expect you will be shocked at the quail it’s of most of the items reviewed.
I don’t buy Gucci t shirts but I do have a few select items like a Lowe bag, an Acne sweatshirt and a Max Mara coat.
My train of thought is why should I pay thousands for an item when I can get an exact copy for about 10% of the original. TBH if I was rich enough to afford the real thing, I’d prob still buy the replica, as long as it was indistinguishable (it bear enough) from the original.
Yes it’s illegal but how many of us used to copy albums or tape music from the radio..... is it really that different?
TBH any guilt I might feel is usually erased when I hear stories like when LV sued a teenager for $100k for skateboarding on their roof, or Hugo Boss sending cease and desist letters to tiny businesses with the word “boss” in their names.
I’m not out to change anyone’s minds but that’s my experience and opinion.
