To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

Both my DC loved the penguin book when they were younger. Wonderful to hear your stories of DS, keep posting if it helps. Will think of him when I have crispy bacon

I hope it's OK but I lit a candle for your DS in the beautiful space that is St. Paul's Cathedral this morning. My DS is a little older than GoJetterBoy and is one of the cathedral choristers. This morning the air around your DS's candle was filled with wonderful music as the choir sang.

Oh am so truly sorry. Your DS sounds like a truly remarkable boy who brought so much joy to everyone. I have ordered the Penguin book in honour of your ds to share with my grandson who is 4 years old. No words can help you but we are all here for you. Lots of love to you all xxxx

Take good care of each other right now. It's a long lonely dark path to walk down after the loss of a child. No parent should ever have to walk it. But there is light on the other end, a different light to what you're used to, but light nonetheless.

Have followed your threads for a while (under a different name). I am so sorry for your loss; your ds loved and was loved, and will always be with you.

I’m so, so sorry. I’m in floods of tears reading this. Like others, I’ll light a candle for your beautiful, strong brave boy and for you as you hold him close in your heart.
