To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

Sending love and sympathy, though I can’t begin to imagine your pain. If only the massed wishes of MNers and your other friends could have healed him. I wish you all the peace and comfort you need.

Rest In Peace Gojetterboy. I am so, so sorry for your loss gojettergirl, there are no words. Know your little boy will always be watching over you, playing with pandy and reading his favourite book in heaven and waiting until he gets to be with his favourite people in the world again.

I wish you and your family strength and nothing but happiness and you’ll all be in our prayers.

I just came across this thread yesterday. I am so sorry @gojettergirl. "Penguin" is one of my boys' favourite books so I am going to read it to them tonight and I will be thinking of your gojetterboy.

Am so very sorry to read your update @GoJetterGirl, I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Even the knowledge that it would be coming can't have prepared you. Am thinking of you and your boy, and hope that he has found peace, and that you can find a version of peace too eventually. Much love x

I have a little boy who loves pink and Minecraft. I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like for you to go on in a world he's not in. I will buy him penguin and read it to him in memory of your boy.

Oh I'm so sad to read of your loss, you poor love - my DS2 is 7 and it breaks my heart to think of your gorgeous DS never getting beyond that age, at least in the physical world.

DS2 also loves Penguin, it's one of his favourite books too - especially the bits with the lion!

So sad for you - I hope your DS2 is ok as well, in terms of coping with the loss of his big brother - if he's old enough, maybe Winston's Wish might be able to offer you some help for him come to terms with it www.winstonswish.org/

I wish I had a religious faith to say he's in a better place. I don't have faith but I do have hope that he is and he's at peace.
