To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

What a beautiful little boy, who is so loved. I am heartbroken for your loss. I'm a big fan of Go Jetters myself. Wishing for strength for you, just take it day by day. Mind yourself xx

Every time you tell us a bit more about your DS his awesomeness shines through.

Oh my darling GoJetter... I haven’t seen you on here since your amusing tale involving ice and bins. My heart breaks for you and the lovely members of your family. (The others can GTF.) I am honoured to be getting to know your darling DS through the insights you have shared. Carry the joyful memories with you in your heart to bludgeon any feelings of despair the Outlaws may wish to inflict upon you at this time. He was YOUR boy, GoJetter! He is so very loved.

Have just ordered Penguin, it looks lovely, maybe just what we need too.

You probably know this but I didn't until I had my DS. When we are pregnant a little bit of the DNA of the baby stays in us (maybe in our bloodstream?) and vice versa so although you say you left your DS in BCH a tiny bit of the blueprint of him is physically in you. I just had to double check that in case I got it wrong but it is true and its called fetal microchimerism.

We have the Penguin book at home gojettergirl so know the name of your wonderful son. I’m so sorry for you and your family, life is so cruel and I can’t even imagine your pain right now.

Penguin was a firm favourite here. We always say dd is like Penguin (autistic and often mute but fiercely loyal and brave) so GJB will now be the little boy in my head.

Like others, I have been following this thread in tears. I am so truly sorry for your loss. Life can be so cruel but there is a lot of love for your family on this thread and I hope that brings you some small comfort.

Like @Neome, I have just ordered ‘Penguin’. Every time I read it I shall think of your GoJetterBoy.

I woke up this morning thinking about you, your family, and Gojetterboy.

Be kind to yourself. No judgment. Just do whatever you need to do/what feels right.

Thinking of you today GoJetterGirl as you go to the hospital and see the counsellor. Good that you are taking Pandy and Penguin. There will be so much to do over the next few days. Only tip I can offer from friends who lost their baby is not to be taken unaware by all the range of emotions that you might feel, numbness, grief, anger, and then the moments remembering joy too.

Read this as I was passing BCH... Sent some loving energy towards your boy xxx
