To be FURIOUS DH just presented me with a massive bouquet for Valentines Day?

After letting me think he hadn’t got me anything therefore making me get quite angry and call lhim a bastard. I feel like shit now!

I also lied and said he wasn’t getting what I’d bought for him as he hadn’t got me anything, but I haven’t actually got him anything so am now hiding in bedroom until he’s left so I can get him something on the school run and pretend that I didn’t just buy it.

When you say school run....presumably that’s your mum dropping you off!!

This reminds me of the time my other half suggested we didn't bother with valentines day and I was more than OK with that - we'd just had a baby and I couldn't be bothered with the fuss.
He came home on valentines with a card and flowers and asked me where his gift was knowing full well I hadn't got him anything just so he could tease me about it.
We both laughed about it, because we're adults. And valentines day means nothing.

Presumably that counts as troll hunting. I was merely pointing out a fact as clearly people were taking it seriously rather than being one of those supposedly "amusing" threads people put up for a laugh.
