Listening to the wind just starting to pick up here in Suffolk.

Is it bad where you are?

Fuuny, we had a similar storm a few days ago in New York. I wonder if it's moved east to pay you a visit.

Absolutely fine. I'm someone who loves storms but they're still scary.

Very quiet here in Glasgow.

East coast of Scotland here. Very calm outside right now. The wind is due to pick up around 9am.

Berkshire and we are getting some big gusts now - and the storm proper is not due to hit for another 4 hours. Praying our roof and chimneys stay with us!

It's horrendous here in Middle England (north of Midlands)

Still going strong here in non sunny Devon.

It's getting louder. I've just come to bed but am wide awake worrying about things so the wind is taking my mind off it

NE Ireland - woke up due to headache, strong, with that white noise buzzing so the air pressure must be going down like mad.
Pretty windy over here already - we live in a relatively sheltered area but one day I will probably sneak into my neighbour’s garden and rip off the ill fitting steel shed door. Driving me mad. It’s either his barking dog or this. Heard the west coast already got some wind but the worst is yet to come. DH driving up North tomorrow morning so pretty worried.

I'm on the Berk/Oxon border and sure it sounds windier than normal but nothing too intense.

North East Coast also near Middlesbrough. Very windy gusts, I back onto a field so feeling very exposed. Wind has me on edge by how loud and powerful it sounds, as though it could take off some roof or blow a window in. Trying to remember I am a grown up and this has never happened for me before

OK that's weird, it's been fairly blowy but as I clicked to type it stopped, suddenly, like in a horror film.

Ah started again now.

I usually see foxes about this time but no sight tonight.

I'm in the west of Ireland. We currently have lashing rain, heavy winds and just now there's been thunder and lightning. It's expected to be far worse tomorrow morning.

Honestly, I can hear what sounds like an air raid siren 😲 it's scary! And I'm awake.

Drove home from London to Northamptonshire. Car was being blown around quite a bit on the M1. Gusty here

Absolutely howling here in Cambs and has been for a few hours. No rain yet though. Dh can’t understand why I can’t sleep, but I hate the wind. I can hear the bins being blown around and am genuinely fearful for our awful garage door.

Cornwall here and it’s very wet and wild. The bbq is on the other side of the garden and we’ve lost it’s cover. The garden has been wrecked really. I’ve just heard my bin go over and a couple of the planters in the front garden. The wind is howling down all the chimnies and something has just gone barrelling down the road.
