Hay...

Listening to the wind just starting to pick up here in Suffolk.

Is it bad where you are?

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 09/02/2020 00:40

In North Essex. Tis a bit windy but nothing bad yet.

sashh · 09/02/2020 00:41

Just heard to noisy women giggling outside so assume its not terrible. I'm in the north east.

LOL, isn't teh NE famous for people not wearing coats? Surely it needs to be a full blown blizzard to count as anything in the NE.

Justaboy · 09/02/2020 00:41

I'm near the East Coast Mainline and I don't want it to bring down any of the overheard power cables.

Well as fewer trains will be running, all midland mainline are cancelled, and they won't be doing the usuall 100 odd line speeds they have a limit tomorrow odd 50 so i shouldn't think its likely!

HitItAsHardAsYouCan · 09/02/2020 00:42

@Justaboy
re. son flying MCR to LCY
Yeah, he’s been considering contingencies in case flight is cancelled.
It hadn’t been cancelled when I came to bed, so the plan is still to go to MCR at 8.30am - think I need to get some sleep.

Justaboy · 09/02/2020 00:44

HitItAsHardAsYouCan I'd see whats on their website or give 'em a ring before going!.

Enidcat5 · 09/02/2020 00:45

I'm on a hill in Scotland, it's always windy here but seems a bit noisier than usual. Still nothing out of the ordinary though so far. Tomorrow looks like it's going to be wild.

BennytheBall · 09/02/2020 00:45

SE.

Just been outside to check - nothing.

HitItAsHardAsYouCan · 09/02/2020 00:47

@Justaboy

BanditoShipman · 09/02/2020 00:55

West Midlands - Worcestershire, really windy here

BrendasUmbrella · 09/02/2020 00:58

I just ran out and brought the potted plants in overnight and laid the bins down. I can hear my neighbours poor cat yowling outside. Yowling is normal for him but ffs let the poor little bugger in Angry

Nat6999 · 09/02/2020 01:03

Sounds like it is starting around here in Sheffield, wind has been blowing for last 3 hours.

Gilead · 09/02/2020 01:08

NE. Wet and windy but nothing major.

Ibloodylovewomen · 09/02/2020 01:12

I'm really worried about our trampoline Confused. DH has put some logs underneath it, but I am now thinking that might not be enough to hold it down.

tmh88 · 09/02/2020 01:13

Yes just woke up to the noise of DS bloody digger blowing round the patio Shock can’t sleep now as it sounds like my windows are about to blow in with the wind and rain, (I also went out to put the digger away which really wakes you up) Grin .. in Sheffield.

Ibloodylovewomen · 09/02/2020 01:13

(logs on the trampoline legs, I mean!)
