Listening to the wind just starting to pick up here in Suffolk.

Is it bad where you are?

Couple of miles south of Glasgow and it’s horrible here. Wind and rain all day and night yesterday. Can feel the windows shaking and the dogs have been crying.

Wind and rain here in Warwick but nothing terrible yet. DH and DS2 are still determined DS2's football match will go ahead, telling me "we play in rain all the time". They are fools.

I've just told DP it's not worth getting killed for a copy of the Sunday Times.
He thinks I'm overreacting......

We are about 15 miles from Manchester but in a rural spot - been awful wind here all night! And rain, but it's the wind I have been listening to most!

Got to take DS to a party this morning- not looking forward to that!

We still have power at the moment which is good but we checked the generator yesterday just in case!

Very wet and windy here on Dorset coast. Have to see how dog feels about going later. He doesn’t like bad weather. He’s just done a dash into the garden. Too dark to see what’s upright and what’s blown over.

Yup we are in Bolton, it's super windy and very wet, and earlier on the gusts of wind felt like it might lift the roof off!
We are on amber warning all day,( as is alot of the country I think)

In last ten minutes since my last post the wind is getting alot more...er...windy. I can hear things moving outside so going to secure the toys in the garden.

Near Blackpool. Not got up yet but the wind is hammering on the windows and the rain sounds heavy.

It’s a bit windy nothing exceptional though and no rain.

I posted last night to say dd was in due to fly in to Luton this morning. She's managed to pay loads get on a train instead, as we fully expected the flight to be cancelled and then she'd be stuck and pay even more.
So far, the flight is listed as scheduled, although some have been cancelled. We'll see how that works out as the morning goes on. Can't say I'd fancy landing in these gusts.

East coast. Very, very windy and raining.

SE Scotland: very wet & windy yesterday. Quiet now but set to pick up again in a couple of hours. I have come down with a stomach bug as well so a perfect day to just stay curled up in bed.

There’s nothing here yet, South Wales coast with the sea at the end of my road. Been out to do the bins and no rain and only a slight breeze.

Cambridgeshire area here... Very windy and no rain as yet!! Meant to be doing tip runs today but can't see that happening now lol
