Listening to the wind just starting to pick up here in Suffolk.

North essex, it's loud out there !

SpeckledyHen · 09/02/2020 05:43

Berkshire. Blowing a bit with a little rain but not too much . No windy sounds .

mathanxiety · 09/02/2020 05:45

My mother in Dublin told me she was bolting the back gate, folding up the clothesline and putting it into the shed, and locking herself into the house until Sunday afternoon. She said the wind was simply roaring.

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 09/02/2020 05:49

Windy and rainy here in Yorkshire but not much worse than the usual shit weather we get 😄

Femail · 09/02/2020 05:50

PhilCornwall1 · 09/02/2020 05:53

thunderthighsohwoe · 09/02/2020 05:56

The wind woke the toddler up here (South East, Wealden area)....oh no wait, the toddler woke the toddler up for a Sunday laugh 🤦🏻‍♀️

GreyhoundzRool · 09/02/2020 05:58

Really bad here on the South Coast. Met office forecasts the worst late morning through to late afternoon so nowhere near over yet sadly

Waitingforciara · 09/02/2020 06:05

Bucks so windy

CharlotteMD · 09/02/2020 06:14

Windsor not too bad. Heathrow working OK.

Heihei · 09/02/2020 06:24

Chucking it down in Lancashire, but to be fair it always is!

WidowSimone · 09/02/2020 06:28

The wind has really picked up in North Essex!

Clutterbugsmum · 09/02/2020 06:28

Very Windy here on the Beds/Herts border.

Our BBq has been blown over.

EerieSilence · 09/02/2020 06:31

@mathanxiety, did she also mentioned thunderstorm? Apparently it’s moving up east too and I hope we get some in Meath too.
Wind is howling over here but not so bed, the rain was pelting down though and it’s very cold.

EerieSilence · 09/02/2020 06:32

not so bad, not bed

frumpety · 09/02/2020 06:39

Just bog standard wet and windy here in Yorkshire, bit gusty but that's it so far. Working today which involves a lot of driving around and back and forth trips to the car. Finishing at 5 so the drive home might be a bit hairy.

GinnyStrupac · 09/02/2020 06:45

Quite windy here. The bins will have to be retrieved and I am hoping that we don't lose our chimneys, fences or any roof before it passes.

showmewhatyougot · 09/02/2020 06:54

Very windy in Essex now, my new build is squeaking Wine

Deelish75 · 09/02/2020 06:55

I'm in Kent. The wind was picking up at about midnight but no rain when I went to bed. Woken up to it howling and starting to rain. I belive the wind is due to last well into tomorrow but not as strong.

We take the trampoline netting down every October (after the trampoline flipped and rolled down the garden a few years ago) and we've got sandbags on its legs so hoping it stays put.

catnidge · 09/02/2020 06:56

Very windy here, London. Am going to get put of bed soon and walk the dog early as its forecast to get worse later. Can't hear rain, am still laying in bed Grin

Welshponyslave · 09/02/2020 06:59

It’s just stepped up here in the NE. One of those days when I wish the ponies could sort themselves out! Dreading the drive there in half an hour

MummyItsallaboutyou · 09/02/2020 06:59

East Sussex coast here. Very windy now and there was rain in the early hours. PJ here with roast dinner. Annoyingly I need gravy granules and mint sauce from the shops.

MashedSpud · 09/02/2020 07:01

Getting gusty here in London. It was flapping the letterbox and woke me half an hour ago.

londonrach · 09/02/2020 07:03

Its windy in midlands but not bad at the moment

MotherHeggy · 09/02/2020 07:06

It's a bit windy here in Weston-s-Mare,but nothing to write home about, normal for this time of year.No rain I don't think.Or if there was,I slept through it. Think we've escaped the worst of it down here.
