CF parking thread - picture included

Saturday night causally watching TV and some CF has parked on my driveway not only getting so close to my gate to my front door but blocked my car in as it's parked in front of the garage.

DP is livid as the ring doorbell has decided to die of battery so we can't see who it is or if they a) went into one of the houses who's back gardens go into the alley/road or b) someone that's gone into the pub despite the car park being empty.

We've checked and the cars not been taxed since October 2019!

My DP is currently sat with the blinds open waiting for whoever it is to come back but I'm pretty sure it's been abandoned for the night whilst someone has a drink or two.... so MN, how long do we think they will park here, who do we think it is and what entertainment might arise

I'm terrible with CF drivers - I'd be ramming it out of the drive (I've done it before when boxed in on my road - set their alarm off too but nobody came out).

Don't let down tyres as they might say they can't drive it. Put the drivers window in & shift it for even better payback (my car was broken into - rain poured in & was a nightmare to get fixed as can't drive it).

Shame you can’t block it in.

My DH says ‘comfy trousers’. He also has some with Peppa Pig characters on.

Is it still there? If this was my drive my mind would be running riot with taking revenge - peanut butter under the door handles, long screws placed under the tyres, a sugar in the fuel system etc. But a) that's probably criminal damage and b) they'd know where I lived so that would stop me from doing any of it.

Accidentally smash window, open door, take off handbrake and roll into road. That's what happened to someone parking car in our drive.

I expect it was badgers what done it Grumplestiltskin. They break in looking for crisps and abandoned Werther's originals.

They're cheeky buggers, these large nocturnal mustelids.

I don’t suppose there’s any way it’s been parked on the road and the handbrake has failed rolling it there? If it’s part on the road it’s not brilliantly parked so could it be possible?

Now I know what they are, I can confirm that DH also has some, but with carton owls on. They are purple.

Ok so we have found the offending CF.

A house further down the way - 5/6th house next to the 3 in my diagram who don't have access to the back entrances by the way - is having some sort of party/friends round. They very sneakily tried to get in the car and DP went out to ask what they were doing and can they not see it's a driveway/not to park there again. Two woman in the car, driver put down her window and sarcastically said sorry followed by a loud of verbal vomit including she'll smash the windows in of my car if it's such a problem. We didn't know it was for the house further down the main street at the point. DP called back 101 and gave an update of the threat incase any damage to my car including the woman sounded drunk.

No more than 20 minutes later a taxi pulls up diagonally into the road so it's headlights were in our front window. Same two woman get out, just about able to walk!! And gave verbal abuse as they walked past the window and back up the street to go to the house they are visiting. I'm now annoyed they have driven home when she could hardly walk in a straight line.

Knock on the door. I go to answer and the man of the house party just starts shouting at me as I open the door. DP comes to the door, asks him to talk and not shout and guy steps back off our step and refuses to listen to anything but says we aren't going out so don't need my car out the driveway so it's not a problem to be blocked in. He states 'he can do what he wants', will park his work am there going forward and literally as DP goes to walk out the door he starts walking backwards into our gate hurting himself in the process whilst given it the I Am as his girlfriend pulls him away. DP is 6'4, goes to the gym 5/6 times a week and this guy was 5'6/7 at a push & most definitely doesn't have any muscle on him

DP is going to knock on his door tomorrow and ask to have a chat about it all because he was clearly drunk and most probably on some sort of drugs given how his eyes glazed over so the conversation/confrontation had no benefit. As I'm home most the time on my own, he doesn't want this guy taking the piss or start intimidating me like he tried on the doorstep when he and his visitors are in the wrong. Bonus though, it's all been caught on Ring as it was charging in the plug socket next to the door!

I was just about to ask whether it had all been caught on your ring but can see that it has - brilliant.

If I were your DP I would mention that to him if he doesn't back down tomorrow.
