I've never actually seen Buffy so I've no idea what you're talking about but I kinda feel like I should watch it to see what the guys is about after reading this 🤣

I’m off to see comedians sing a tribute to it next month. Rose Mattafeo as Buffy, Ed Gamble as Spike and Nish Kumar as Xander. DH, who’s never seen the original, and only knows the bit about bunnies, (because any time anyone ever says they’ve “got a theory” I go into a full rendition) is escorting me god help him.

@Hoik yes me too. Though there were also rumours that it would be a follow on rather than a reboot. I would watch either I don’t mind. I watched the. Charmed reboot it was quite fun, though buffy is a big part of my life, charmed was not.

When I saw the title of this thread I was thinking "I bet this won't be what it should be" and I'm so wonderfully surprised... A thread full of fellow geekish fans!!!

YADNBU.... Once more with feeling is amazing and in fact I must must must watch it tonight now I've been reminded of it!!

I'm also looking forward to the new take on the vampire slayer world..... Its not meant to be remake which I'm happy about.

I loved the original film and the SMG series was a perfect continuance!

I put on the soundtrack the other night in my car and had a grand old time!

I clicked on this just to see if it was Buffy! Love that episode, and I agree The Body is just a stunning piece of television. I too was utterly obsessed. When I changed jobs late nineties they made me a leaving card with a picture of me marrying David Boreanaz.

I am currently watching the first season of Marvel's The Runaways on Prime and it has James Marsters in it with normal brown hair and normal accent. I keep waiting for him to lapse into an English accent and swirl a big black coat around. So far, he hasn't.

Great episode, the body and the gift where also massive favourites. I think it should have finished with the gift. Such a powerful ending. Loved buffy

Well that's tonight's cooking soundtrack sorted, the soundtrack is on Amazon Music! Just played The Mustard and proper snorted to myself. 😆 Had forgotten that bit.

I actually dont like the soundtrack that much (its fine) but it was just such a fresh idea at the time, and was really well executed in terms of the story. Voted YANBU on balance.

And Angel was great apart from that terrible 4th season. Season 5 might have been the best, even with the rushed ending.

Love a bit of Buffy. One of my daughters is Cordelia, if I'm asked I say oh, yes, it's from King Lear. But no, I've liked it since I watched Buffy.

I love love love this episode, the best line for me is: ‘If my heart could beat, it would break my chest’. I also love Tabula Rosa and Smashed and Wrecked! I recently rewatched the whole thing on Prime and it’s unleashed a serious fan girl
