AIBU to think this is still one of the best Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes?

Recently rewatched 1-7. I love this episode. Deff my fav!

I love this episode, I know as soon as I saw the title of this thread it would be Buffy.

Blimming loved Buffy and the Early Angel series.... before it went a bit weird ....
Any episode with spike is fantastic such a brilliant character.

I was such a BTVS geek ... had all the box sets - some on VHS! Had books - including one that had a load of scripts in it.
I always wanted to go to Forbidden planet in London when the actors were doing signings .... alas I never did!

I'm always looking for the whole series on demand, SYFY played a few seasons a while back but stopped around season 4 think.

Loved the music from the early episodes, they introduced me to Sarah McLachlan and I had the first season soundtrack ....

I dislike musical episodes of anything with a passion so YABU - however DH says YANBU and is now humming the first song, if I know him as well as I think I do he’ll hum the whole score over the next day or so! Cheers OP .

My favourite has to be Hush for the latter seasons (though I still think Tara should have been the one to scream given her character was so quiet at that point.)

But the episode where Buffy's mum dies is heartbreaking. It makes me well up just thinking of it.

I am now listening to the soundtrack.....

I loved the mime in Hush, some great humour in that episode, genuinely creepy monsters for a change and Riley and Buffy finally see the truth of each other so we no longer have the “when will they figure it out” dance 😁 and Giles’ presentation to Dance Macabre on an overhead projector (that I had to explain to my youngest sister when she started watching BTVS and had never seen one before!).
