Wreckers

jewel1968 · 31/01/2020 22:21

You may think it is marvelous and I am not going to get into a debate about the pros and cons but you know that roughly 50% of the population is feeling very sad and very worried just now. This overt display of celebration is just cruel. Engage your humanity. It is not about brexit it is about people.

Fucksake, Farage about to give a speech to his adoring fans Envy

ilovesooty · 31/01/2020 22:51

No way am I watching that slimy toad. No evil that might befall him would be enough for me.

FizzyIce · 31/01/2020 22:56

Enjoy your “Brexshit” parties ..

Lonelycrab · 31/01/2020 23:00

DappledThings · 31/01/2020 23:04

That image makes me want to sob MaxNormal. It's so beautifully done.

byebyebeautiful · 31/01/2020 23:04

Fannies

AlexaShutUp · 31/01/2020 23:04

So sad. We observed a minute's silence in our house. Couldn't think of any other way to mark the occasion.

LastTrainEast · 31/01/2020 23:09

"I truly believe that 52% of the population should not get to dictate to the other half of the country"

Every single election this happens. Consider moving to North Korea?

BritneyPeedOnALadybug · 31/01/2020 23:11

EU Ok, Hun?

(Not intended as an insult to remainers, I just saw it on the Last Leg just now and thought it was funny).

No matter which side of the argument you stand on, I hope everyone is alright and feeling okay.

LastTrainEast · 31/01/2020 23:17

Well now we're out of the EU apparently everyone will be looting and possibly resorting to cannibalism. Like Lord of the Flies now that the adults have gone who used to look after us.

If this seems weird read some of the wilder Brexit comments.

Alsohuman · 31/01/2020 23:17

Heartbroken.

Lonelycrab · 31/01/2020 23:26

@LastTrainEast no that comes in about 18 months or so, when it’s all gone tits up.

AlexaShutUp · 31/01/2020 23:27

Heartbroken

Me too, alsohuman. Devastated.

FizzyIce · 31/01/2020 23:30

@Alsohuman I actually shed a tear when I heard some rednecks around here setting off fireworks at 11.
Just terrible

Alsohuman · 31/01/2020 23:37

Oh yes, the fucking fireworks. We had them here too. I haven’t been able to watch/read the news today.

DappledThings · 31/01/2020 23:38

Been thankfully firework free here.

R1R2 · 31/01/2020 23:39

I hear our major export will be salt given the state of some of these posts

BonnesVacances · 31/01/2020 23:45

Bless them! Seeing all the happy people celebrating Happy Brexit Day in Parliament Square and the pubs. What will they all do to fill their lives and purpose tomorrow?

AlexaShutUp · 31/01/2020 23:49

Seeing all the happy people celebrating Happy Brexit Day in Parliament Square and the pubs.

I keep wondering what they are so jubilant about. What do they actually think is going to happen as a result of leaving, I wonder. Do they really think their lives are going to get better, or are they just happy because they "won".

It's a weird kind of victory that leaves you worse off than you would have been if you had lost.

BonnesVacances · 01/02/2020 00:02

It's exactly this.

Happy brexit day
Whizbang · 01/02/2020 00:15

Jeez, the sour grapes and bile on this thread is really sad. I voted remain but we live in a democracy thankfully. Shame on all those wishing for the U.K. to fail just so they can say told you so. Sad and bitter individuals. How about we all pull together to make the best of it. (I appreciate the very idea will be anathema to some commenting here).
