My mums friend is 72 - been here for almost 50 years - taught here for 40+ years, owns a house here, had 3 kids here - all of whom work and contribute, she's Dutch - she's refusing to apply to remain in a country that's been her home for most of her adult life - she says they can carry her out kicking and screaming :(
