Gratuitous posting for traffic, sorry! I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my first and curious to hear stories about all of Mumsnet's birthing stories!

Were you bang on time? Late? Super early? Anyone's water break while speaking at a conference or at a family dinner? How was the labour? Any complications? ..were you prepared and how are your DCs now?

Induced at 37 weeks with DS due to cholestasis.

Sexnotgender · 11/01/2020 12:40

42 exactly.

annualleavepurchase · 11/01/2020 12:40

41+1 waters broke about 12 hours after my contractions started. Early labour began with bad diarrhea then stomach cramps like period pains.

StopMegxit · 11/01/2020 12:41

DC1 - 42 weeks
DC2 - 37 weeks

Sparklingbrook · 11/01/2020 12:41

DC1 two weeks early, DC2 on their due date. According to the NHS.
I knew different though. DC1 was within a few days of their due date and DC2 was 2 weeks early.
DC2 I couldn’t have got pregnant when the NHS said I did. 🤷‍♀️

EggysMom · 11/01/2020 12:42

29+1. Weighted 1lb 6oz (637g to be precise). 11 weeks on NICU, discharged 2 days after his due date. Unfortunately lots of complications.

Satsuma001 · 11/01/2020 12:43

41+1 contractions started Friday evening, DD born 2am Wednesday, long latent phase with waters breaking on the Tuesday at home then induced as had tested positive for GBS. Forceps delivery due to fetal distress. All worth it to hold her in my arms now Grin

Pipandmum · 11/01/2020 12:43

37 weeks and 38.

butterandbread · 11/01/2020 12:44

38 weeks, was booked in for induction due to reduced movement but was admitted without need for it an hour before my appointment. Was so happy!

Mamabear88 · 11/01/2020 12:44
