As well as the famous Twatt of Shetland, there is a watercourse in southern Scotland showing on maps as Burn of Twatt. There is also a Lucky Slap somewhere near Dundee.

To get to work my husband drives down Lady Lane which makes him chuckle like a 14 yo school boy despite being 53

There is a place called Dull in Scotland, which has twinned itself with a town in USA called Boring!

Oh I love this Grin

raspberrymolakoff · 11/01/2020 00:06

Where I love there's a small road called "Back Passage" which always made the dc giggle.

In Cardiff there is still a road near the docks called Womanby Street which apparently reflects its historic use for the oldest profession.

I always have a smile when I drive past the road signs on the A303 to the various Wallop villages.

raspberrymolakoff · 11/01/2020 00:07

No where I live.... though love would have a different meaning...

Twernip · 11/01/2020 00:11

There's a Cock Play in Northumberland, which makes me smile. Also, Wingletang Down and Izzicumpucca, both on the Scilly Isles! Grin
