Indulge me... DH and I have enjoyed ourselves today thinking of random words that could be names Grin A bit like when Uncle Fester said Dementia was a beautiful name. DH thinks Nausea could be lovely.

I live in Scotland and know lots of little Willies!

Claudia is a real name and means 'lame'.

Portia means 'Pig'.

Pippa is 'wank' in many, many languages!!

Qashqai would make a good name.

I have no middle name & for years pretended it was Haberdashery.

@QueenOfOversharing I feel I need to know more details here! If that’s true, it’s fabulous.

Also, I would love to meet an Andy whose full name was Andrex! His older sister would be Cushelle.

Dangerfloof · 04/01/2020 15:29

Summer is already a name, though I like winter and autumn. Girls names of course. Not sure spring would work.

Ellmau · 04/01/2020 15:31

I know of a Tencel (in the US).

Freebmd records two people called Taffeta, two called Beaujolais, and several Vixens.

@QueenOfThorns 100% true - everyone in my family has middle names & I felt hard done by! So when ppl asked, I said "Haberdashery" - no idea why! Think I just liked the word. My granny was a knitter. I later changed it to Felicity. Again, no idea why!

Ovary, is quite pretty I think.
Skyn has a good, strong feel to it.
Bisto affable, older Uncle.

KurriKurri · 04/01/2020 15:52

My Dad used to refer to me affectionately as Nausea Bagwash (i think she was a character from a old radio comedy show)Grin

I heard someone this very morning call their child over to them in a shop 'Come here Mersey' - I've just been discussing with DD what an awful name this is and whether her other children are called Thames and Manchester Ship Canal.
