The name Nausea

Indulge me... DH and I have enjoyed ourselves today thinking of random words that could be names A bit like when Uncle Fester said Dementia was a beautiful name. DH thinks Nausea could be lovely.

Toris, the short version of Clitoris, and Pen for a boy, the shortened version of Penis.

We had a support worker who's name was Lime Juice. (Seriously) alsonmetva child called Lychee.

Pubic for a boy, good strong name there.

As to Isis, DS went to primary school with one. We lived near the upper reaches of the Thames at the time, where the river is called the Isis, so it was an entirely reasonable local monicker and I don’t think she was the only one. Hope she had a decent middle name.

Daggers - good strong male name (...Sir Daggers Montgomery-Smith, captain in the Queens army, at your service....)

I met someone who said if it wasn’t for the tobacco she’d love to name her daughter Amber Leaf 🤣

Twins chaos (boy) and Mayhem (girl).
Malice has a nice ring too, better than plain Alice.
I love Lucifer too.

It is a cool name. Don’t think it fits in the same category as Nausea 😂

It’s beautiful but I think you need to be brave to use it. I wanted it as a middle name for DD but it got vetoed ☹️

I've a secret hankering for triplets called Picquit, Licquit and Flicquit - look more like girls names than boys TBH

One of my DD's nicknames went well with petulance and pestilence which I think would make nice names.

When she was being mischievous I'd call her them and used to get strange looks in the shops.

There’s a Portuguese word ‘Caixa’ which is pronounced Kai-sha (Kai to rhyme with eye)

I think it would make a beautiful girls name but it means box/cashier.

I like Torpor and Turpitude, twin brothers to Melancholia. That’s a Times Birth announcement right there. And Morganite is definitely somewhere back in someone’s family tree. Sir Morganite, Lord of Low Countries and Keeper of the Kings Seal.
